Chapter 3 My Husband is a Disabled Big Shot

When Patricia asked her question, Isabella was confused.

"How does this elegant woman know I'm here? Why is she here?"

Isabella asked, "I'm Isabella. Who are you?"

"I'm George's mom, Patricia Baker. If you have time, let's chat."

Patricia's gentle tone was hard to resist.

Isabella nodded, "Okay."

She didn't get why Patricia was visiting. It had to be about marriage.

'Guess I can't escape my fate.'

"Don't be shy. We'll be family soon."

Isabella was shocked, "Mrs. Spencer, I've already turned down this marriage."

"Don't be hasty." Patricia smiled and handed her a paper.

Isabella saw it was an overdue bill from the hospital where Oliver was staying. "What's this about?"

"If I say I can help you get your mom's house back, cover your brother's medical bills, and send him abroad for treatment, would you marry George?"

'Getting the villa back costs a lot. Lucas wants fifty million dollars, and only the Spencer family and a few others can afford it. Besides, Patricia promised to give it to her after buying it back.' Isabella thought.

This was Hazel's only inheritance, very important to Isabella.

More importantly, it was about Oliver. Without funds, his treatment could stop, risking his life.

Isabella wanted her mom's belongings and her brother to be healthy.

"Okay, I agree." She gave in.

Patricia was pleased. Isabella was beautiful and fit to be her daughter-in-law. Patricia added, "If you have any other conditions, let me know. The Spencer family isn't harsh."

"There is one condition."

Patricia was surprised, "Go ahead."

Isabella said, "My marriage into the Spencer family has nothing to do with the Jones family."

'I would do anything for Oliver and Hazel's belongings but don't want to be used by Lucas anymore.'

This surprised Patricia. She thought Isabella would ask for help for the Jones Group, but she wanted to cut ties.

"That's easy to arrange," Patricia said.

Isabella nodded, "When's the wedding?"

"The sooner, the better," Patricia answered.

"Okay." Isabella nodded.

Patricia smiled in thought. 'Isabella is young but sharp. A mere marriage contract might not bind her. But for now, she is the only suitable candidate.'

"After you marry George, I'll handle the house and your brother's matters, but it will take some time."

"No problem."

With just a few words, Isabella became the future daughter-in-law of the Spencer family.

But it didn't matter.

She was homeless, with only a few hundred dollars. With the Spencer family as a safe haven, her life couldn't be worse than the ten years in the countryside.

Isabella was curious about her fiancé, George. The billionaire heir, incredibly handsome, was the dream of many women, with high talents and achievements.
