18 years ago Layla was sent to the human world she was the last hope that those of the unknown would get the chance to be free again. She was to grow up a normal child and one day hopefully save the world before the evil tyrant Lucinda took it over. WIth the barrier closed her mission to overthrow the humans and punish her best friend for her betrayal was put to rest. 

But after a long 18 years she finally learned what was keeping the barrier closed and opens them to get her revenge.

Layla who hid what made her different from the world is invited along with other daughters of nobles to attend a ball where she will have the chance to become queen of Greenville. 

She knows what will happen if someone discovers what she can do. But what happens when she is picked to be queen and she learns that the ball was only thrown so that they could find her so that she could help save the kingdom of Greenville.
