Bad Encounter

"Good evening, Mrs Xezedha," Afrow greeted the woman.

"Good evening too Afrow. Oh, you're with that much talked about woman," said the woman named Xezedha.

Talked about? I just found out that without my knowledge, I was being talked about by several parties until now. I know why they are talking about me, but there must be something very interesting about me according to them that they are busy taking care of me.

I don't know the origin of the life of this woman whose physique and identity are exactly the same as mine, but all I know is that this woman is an ordinary girl who was left for dead by her father who was a human who worked as a woodcutter in the forest. Not much different from my identity as long as I was in a world without any supernatural beings. It turns out that in any dimension or universe I still have a sad background.

The woman only glanced at me and didn't engage me in conversation, she didn't even greet me even though our gazes met. It was like she was showing her arrogance and considered me so low, Afrow who was ignored until she got involved felt uncomfortable because Xezedha's behaviour was very unethical in my opinion.

After Xezedha almost completely passed me, I immediately took the initiative to greet her. But the greeting I gave was not a warm greeting, who dares to ignore me is the same as starting a conflict with me. I no longer want to be naive like when I was an ordinary human, now I live in a different world system, plus I have privileges, I will not waste it.

"Good evening Mrs Xezedha," I said casually.

Xezedha, who was about to walk away, stopped and turned her head slightly towards me, then she turned her body towards me with a smile.

"Good evening too, Mrs Aluna. You look more cheerful than usual," Xezedha greeted me back. "I thought there was something that made you want to greet me, is there something?"

I smiled crookedly and faintly. "Nothing, I was just teaching you something."

Xezedha raised one eyebrow. "Teaching you something? What do you mean?"

"Of course I'm teaching you something, but apparently you don't understand. You should be more sensitive, because this is an important lesson. I'm teaching you about manners so that you can be polite to everyone."

Xezedha, who felt offended, moved her body towards me and raised her chin. "What do you mean?"

I look at Afrow who is starting to panic, I don't know who this Xezedha is, but whoever she is I still have more power here considering James is King Alpha who is respected by all werewolves without exception, and James is the leader of the nuclear family so I conclude this woman has less authority than James here.

"Madam, sorry to interrupt you. We'd better get on with it ----"

I raised my hand to silence Afrow. I was in the mood to be serious right now, seeing Xezedha's haughty attitude made me sick.

"My point is, of course, to make you realise that you should be polite to others. Don't you have any manners towards the person carrying the future heir to the Voghmoon nuclear family? And even if that's not the case, you should be more courteous to others whoever they are," I said. "It's still good that I greeted you even though you ignored me. You should be ashamed."

Xezedha raised her upper lip until it curled upside down, she looked very sarcastic to me. And that's not something I regret, the angrier she gets the better in my opinion. Being arrogant in front of an arrogant person is an achievement that needs to be defended.

"So you took offence because I didn't greet you? So you wanted to be greeted by me so badly that you got angry and felt discouraged? That's too bad," Xezedha said back to me shamelessly.

I snorted and squinted my eyes as I folded my arms in front of my chest. Apparently this Xezedha has no fear, I admit he's a brave person, but I still don't like this guy.

"I don't need to explain anything. But the point is that smart people will reflect on other people's advice while other people will get angry and not accept it," I said not to be outdone.

I think that's it, the next time this woman acts up again then it's time for me to get back at her. Besides, if I get too fiery then she'll use it to turn the tables.

I stepped away from Xezedha, not caring that the expression on Xezedha's face was already on the edge of annoyance, to hell with her feelings because she herself had started this cold war first.

"Hm? Where are you going? Why are you leaving first? Are you scared?" Xezedha asked me.

Apart from being shameless, one other trait of Xezedha that I know is that she is a person who likes to find trouble, or rather she is a culprit.

"Scared? Yes, I was afraid of making you cry. Very funny," I said disinterestedly and walked away.

Xezedha looked very upset, if she had intended to provoke my anger then she would have been very difficult. Because I'm easily offended, but I won't explode if I'm provoked by her.

Afrow, who was following behind me, didn't say much, he just kept quiet until I arrived at my bedroom. Perhaps he was also confused about how to react, I had no problem with that, the most important thing was that he did not side with Xezedha.

"Good night, Mistress. If there is anything you need please call me," Afrow said.

After I nodded, he disappeared in an instant. Strangely enough, I'm used to paranormal things like the supernatural powers werewolves have and their lives are very different from my old life. Either because this is innate from the memory of the owner of Aluna's body or because I am adaptable.

I stepped casually into my room, nothing was different from before. I then sat on the edge of the bed, now I even feel bored because there is nothing I can do, unlike when I was still living with my stepmother who made me work non-stop, but that doesn't mean I like being treated like that. I just need to find something to entertain me.

The door to the room opened loudly, I who had been daydreaming was now startled and stared at the door with a shocked look. James stood there and for a few moments still looked at me with a sharp gaze. Did I make a mistake?

James stepped quickly towards me, with an angry look he approached me and immediately pulled my hand hard.

"Are you stupid? What did you do that for, huh?!" James snapped at me.
