Chapter 6

Sicily threw her bag on the table, feeling very tired but there was nothing she could do but stay where she was. It felt like the work she was doing right now was making less and less sense. However, this was the only way that Sicily could survive, if before this was something different.

"They even suspected a burn mark that was not clear where it came from. But that particle is not found in the elements of materials that have been discovered by humans. If there was no intention to do something, they shouldn't have shown themselves like that. Why make trouble when I have absolutely no intention of fulfilling Professor John's request?"

Sicily sighed softly, she felt that the world was peaceful enough without the presence of aliens and even if the aliens came but only to find out and be curious about life on earth, the aliens should not have to emphasize their existence.

That would only be dangerous, what if this was actually a misunderstanding? Humans are people who are quick to get emotional and do things excessively to slaughter what is dangerous to them. Even though not necessarily all of that happened, because if the aliens really want to invade the earth, it should have been a long time ago when humans were not yet smart in matters of revolution and making sophisticated tools that might be equivalent if opposite to the tools in the alien world.

They are very late if they come now, because humans are more skilled in thinking and might make something stronger resistance than the aliens who have prepared the attack they will do.

"Why are there always endless stories about aliens? I thought maybe it was just a fairy tale or fiction story, but it turns out that there are also those who have proven the existence of aliens is real. Yes, it may be real, but will it reach human reasoning when they also have different lives?"

Sicily fought with her head but couldn't find a way out either because she was getting dizzy herself. Rising from her seat, the girl walked towards the outside of the room and decided to prepare some food. She was hungry because she had been thinking too much, moreover she did not find the whereabouts of Stein aka the human she helped yesterday.

Probably resting and sleeping in the room. It was good that Stein could recover soon, who knows the man would remember who he was and ease his return later because there was no way the man would continue to be with while they did not know that far.

"I'd better make a meal with meat and also some seasonings. I can also make macaroni cheese and milk. Gosh, I have to add a lot of vitamins and nutrients in my food so that I can stay sane through all of this."

Sicily was cooking and realized that Stein had been watching her. The man was there and in a transparent model so Sicily didn't notice. However, her words from earlier had been heard by Stein and it made him silently digest every word said by Sicily.

"You don't believe in my existence because you've never seen me and the people of my species, right? Humans have only ever made us a fairy tale and also a children's cartoon just to entertain. In the past your thinking was very shallow and brought everything for entertainment but now because of that your minds have become closed and focused on fairy tales that cannot develop. Now there is an originator of people who believe in our existence so you are starting to believe in it. You're pretty far behind, but you're so great for getting to this point, when no human has ever found us where we came from."

Stein smiled softly. He recognized Sicily as not only a sincere human being but also a clever thinker. This woman was not always monotonous because she could make a comparison between real or not. He knew that Sicily was only afraid of going astray with her own thoughts while it was not certain that everything could happen.

"If your thinking is like this and one day I will appear to you and claim that I am an alien, will you believe it? Maybe you'll believe it when you find the difference in me. Because you are not blind to this knowledge, you just don't believe it because you have never seen us."

Stein smiled softly then took a breath and felt the aroma of cooking that had begun to smell good from the pot. This girl was good at cooking and he as an alien who had tasted human food for the first time felt immediately matched with the sensation of food cooked by Sicily.

Besides being smart this girl is also good at cooking and her face also looks beautiful. The definition of a perfect human being as said by people. Sicily is one of those women who could be the dream of many people but he knows whether this girl is really just single or already has her own lover.

"I'm so hungry."

Sicily turned her head and smiled at the arrival of Stein who was already acting like someone who had just woken up.

"I'll solve this problem soon and you can eat to get back to rest. I'm sorry it took me so long to get back, we had a lot of discussion to do so I was stuck there and I'll be back this time." Sicily said making Stein look at her who was refocusing on cooking.

"Aren't you tired of having to do these activities? Shouldn't you be able to call a servant and pay him or help you with the chores? Because if there are servants then when you come home from work you can just eat. It wouldn't be hard for you to do this kind of work again and make use of your time that could be used for rest." Stein said making Sicily sigh softly and smile.

"Actually, I really want to but I can't do that because my salary is not enough. I only get a part time salary because I don't work full time here. My salary is only enough for food, luckily this house belongs to my family so I don't have to pay for it since they are gone and I now live alone. If not I would probably be in a lot of trouble because I still have about a year to go before I graduate from university."

Stein nodded in understanding, then looked at Sicily who had lifted some side dishes from the stove and placed them on the dining table.

"If I helped you pay for the waiter, would you like it? Suppose you also pay for my expenses while here until I really remember who I am, would you agree?"

Sicily looked at him who was already sitting at the dining table, before finally smiling and picking up a spoon.

"If you have money you can do that but if not, there's no need. I've already shopped quite a lot and until you recover I can still provide enough food for you. You don't have to think about anything, when you get better and you remember who you are and you return to your family and get a more secure source of money, then you can come to me and treat me to a meal."

Sicily's words made Stein smile. This girl is really innocent, this place is indeed the most appropriate for her to live in for the next few months.
