Chapter 5

ALPHA JEREMIAH

Under the silvery embrace of the full moon, I prowled the outskirts of Alpha Alexander's territory, my thoughts as relentless as the night. The Lycan king's pack was formidable, a force to be reckoned with, and I had to admit it—Alexander was a cunning Alpha. He had figured it all out, how to keep threats like me out. It was frustrating but at the same he was a challenge I was willing to take on and I never give up so easily. After all I have so hard just to get to this point.

Alexander murdered my father and half our pack without a second thought. Back then we were known as the silver nights, he raided our village and took some of our pups. He would train them as his men and they would grow to follow him. The Lycan King was ruthless and cunning. He had to go and I would be the one to end him.

As an Alpha myself, notorious and cunning, I appreciated the complexities of this game. The temptation to raid Alexander's pack and seize control of his territory was ever-present, but it was a dangerous gambit. The odds of victory were slim, and even if I succeeded, it would not go unnoticed.

Lycans were shrewd, their senses acute, and Alexander, with his connections to the Alpha of the Dead Lands, was doubly so. Any hint of intrusion into his domain would alert him immediately. No, a frontal assault was not the path to victory.

I needed a different strategy, something more subtle and devious. A way to weaken Alexander's pack from within, without drawing his attention. It required finesse, manipulation, and a deep understanding of Lycan politics. I sighed as my mind ran with a lot of options, possibilities and outcomes.

My thoughts danced like shadows in the moonlight, each idea and scenario scrutinized with precision. I considered sowing discord among his pack members, using their rivalries to my advantage. But that was too predictable, and Alexander was likely prepared for such tactics. Unlike the previous Alphas I have raided Alexander was different, any mistake I would be a dead man.

Perhaps targeting his alliances, exposing his vulnerabilities, or exploiting the tension between the Lycans and their human mates could yield results. But it needed to be done subtly, like a whisper in the night, so that it appeared as if the chaos had arisen naturally.

The moon overhead cast its ethereal glow on the land, a reminder of the power that governed our kind. It was said that the moon watched over all Lycans, guiding their destinies. And as I stood there, contemplating my next move, I couldn't help but wonder if the moon itself held the answers to my cunning plan.

With each step I took, my resolve grew stronger. I would find the chink in Alexander's armor, the thread that, when pulled, would unravel the intricate tapestry of his pack. It was a game of patience, strategy, and relentless determination, but I was the cunning Alpha Jeremiah, and I thrived on such challenges.

Under the watchful eye of the moon, I delved deeper into my thoughts, crafting a plan that would lead to the ultimate prize—dominance over Alexander's territory and the power that came with it. The night was my ally, and as I continued to scheme, I knew that the darkness held secrets waiting to be unveiled.

It was as if the moon goddess herself had chosen this moment to smile upon me, for my wolf stirred within, restless and eager. A scent, so intoxicating, so alluring, wafted through the night air, drawing me in like a moth to a flame. Lavender and rain, a symphony of fragrances that danced upon the breeze, teasing my senses with their enchantment.

My wolf, ever alert, sensed her presence before I did, and his primal instincts clawed at my soul, demanding release. She was near, my mate, the one destined to be mine for eternity. The scent grew stronger, more addictive with every step, like a siren's call pulling me closer to my fate. I wanted her, I needed her it was the most uncontrollable feeling. All I could think of were the things I was going to do to her once I had her in my arms.

And there she was, bathed in the moon's gentle light, her ethereal beauty stealing the breath from my lungs. Her hair, a cascade of white with hints of silver, framed a face that could only be described as celestial. She stood there, looking up at the moon, a smile that could melt the coldest of hearts gracing her lips.

I couldn't help the smirk on my lips as I watched her figure. She was talking to the moon for some reason and smiling. I was amused, she was way shorter than I was but she had the most attractive curves. I wanted to hold her really close. I wanted to have her right now under the moonlight, to claim her-she was mine.

My heart thundered in my chest as I watched her, unable to tear my gaze away. She was a goddess among mortals, a vision of perfection, and she belonged to me. The realization sent a surge of possessiveness through me, making my wolf growl in anticipation.

She sensed me then, her eyes widening in panic as her head snapped in my direction. With a voice that held a hint of steel, she demanded that I take a step back, or else. It was an empty threat, for I was entranced by the enchantress before me. What could she possibly do to deter me?

Instead of cowering, she turned and ran, her petite form disappearing into the night. I didn't give chase, for I had a different plan in mind. My mate, the key to entering Alpha Alexander's territory, was now within my reach. With a sly smirk, I welcomed the challenge that lay ahead. This was destiny's design, and I was more than willing to play my part in this intricate game of power .
