POV - Alpha Twins

“She’s finally safe.” Mom whispered, as she smiled at our little mate who was out cold thanks to Dad. While Dad was looking at our mate with kindness and hope, everyone else saw the anger he held at the hell she’s been through.

“No one will ever hurt you again, sweet Little Mate.” We spoke softly to her sleeping figure as we took turns kissing her face. ‘She’s so peaceful.’ I through mind link. “Her hair is long and pretty; I wonder if she’ll me braid it. Or style it up.”

“I don’t know. You’ll have to ask her sometime.” Stuart chuckled at my question. Having helped Gustava and Rachellea with their hair, I’d actually gotten used to doing it.

“Dad, why did you sedate her?” Gustava asked. Granted she beat me to the punch. Our little mate looked so peaceful as she rested, we thought it was nice.

“I did so, because I know she didn’t sleep much over the last week nor last night, even though I told her to. Not that I actually thought she was going to sleep while we were still there. The fact that everything you’ve eaten this week has been cooked by your future Luna, so I knew she’d be exhausted.” Informing all of us.

He angry to know that he had to intervene in what they were inflicting upon her. *Kallen, Stuart we had to purchase her from them. If she knows she won’t say anything until asked by someone of rank. But that doesn’t mean that someone won’t say something to others from here about it. And if we’d thought for a moment that they’d let her go otherwise we would have never done that. But you both saw how they reacted to her stomach growling in that meeting. And I wasn’t going to risk her getting harmed. So, there was no doubt in my mind that they wouldn’t have let her go without a fight. – ‘We know Dad. We’re alright as we now have her in our arms. As we sent Mom to check on her after that meeting because we could feel her pain and fear.’ – ‘As well as that she was being touched inappropriately. Thank you for protecting our mate the way you did.’ — ‘Any time boys as she will be our next Luna. Take care of her.’

We nodded as if that wasn’t already going to happen. As she meant more to us than breathing air does. She is our air now. I looked at my brother and for the first time in a long time I felt like we were truly on the same page. As we’d grown apart from the need of our mate. Which shouldn’t have happened this soon.

Growing up twins meant we both knew that we’d share our future mate.

Mom and Dad tell us that it’s too soon for us to drift apart the way we were. But knowing we’d found our mate had them at ease. Has us at ease.

“Wow really, she’s a really great cook.” Rachellea said. Kallen’s head shot up to give her a look half anger and curiousness. We both growled lightly so as to not wake our mate.

“Don’t go getting any ideas. She is taking time away from that. Later on, down the road she wants to help then she can, but no one is to make her feel like she has to do any of it.” I gritted sadness and anger in my tone.

“We also need to help her find a name. They legally got her named Flea Doe. I don’t know about you all, but I will not call her that. She needs a REAL name.” Dad stated, as she started to shiver from how cold she was.

“Poor thing, I think she is cold.” Mom spoke with a saddened tone, having notice our little Luna shiver. We knew that was possible from her size alone. Her size also caused worry that she may not get a wolf, or at the very least shift into one because of this issue.

“Let us fix that.” We said in unison. We unbuckled her and pulled her onto our lap as we moved closer to each other. We then covered her in our jackets, and she slept soundlessly after that. We then dosed off for a bit as well.

POV – third party

“While I am glad that they have her, I worry about them now too. There is no telling what all the poor thing has been through with that so-called pack. We all saw the looks she was getting when she was told to do something. Especially when she was being told to eat. They have starved that poor girl.” Tomas growled out.

Six hours down the road, and everyone was starting to get a little hungry. And only two hours to go before reaching the Green Mountain Pack lands, Tomas figured stopping and giving everyone a chance to stretch their legs and eat wouldn’t be so bad. Tomas noticing that at some point Flea Doe had woken up but stayed quiet from being on the laps of her now future Alphas. Tomas gave a slight growl, waking the twins up, they saw a look of fear in her eyes.
