Chapter 5:Claimed Defense

His iris turned red,terrifying the people staring at him.

His short canine elongated turning sharp.His fingers turned longer.

They all moved back,ready to run.

"Where do you all think you are going to,you are all going to hell today,"he gritted his teeth.

"He is a monster,he is a monster!!Run!"

Before they could even move,they all felt a huge grip on them,throwing them towards the wall,they all hit their heads on the wall,and immediately,three of the boys fell unconscious.

Damien walked to the conscious one among them,what surprised him the most was that he wasn't even leaping,all the wounds they gave to him seemed to have healed completely,only blood stains.What the heck is he??!The boy trembled in fear.Was Riley planning to kill them,she never informed them that the person they were told to wound was a monster.

Damien squatted and took the knife on the floor,ready to stab him in the face.

He remembered he was the one who burned his picture,this wicked kid,now he is going to give the worst scar he would never forget in his life.

"Who the...who the heck are you?"The boy trembled.

"Your worst nightmare,"he snorted walking straight to the boy who was trembling badly.

Immediately he took a turn stabbing the boy,and a very loud voice was heard.

"Stop!!"

That was then everything dawned on him.He was changing back to his normal state.

His eyes were changing to normal,his fangs were getting shorter,and even his long fingers got to their normal size.He changed back to his normal state.

There were three teachers and the principal behind him.

He stood up to look at the people who stared at him in horror.They were shocked to see him like that.

"Are you trying to kill your peers?"The principal widened his eyes.

They could see his body stained with blood.He quickly dropped the knife,then began to shake his head.Tears were dropping from his eyes,now that he finally realized what he did.

"These people were trying to kill me first,I was only..."

"Silence!!"One of the teachers yelled at him.He just shook his head allowing tears to stream down his cheeks.

"I am sorry,"he apologized.

Lilly ran to the school at a quick pace.After hearing from the principal that her son had almost killed someone in the school,she didn't hesitate before going to his school.

She ran into the principal's office without hesitating,and there she saw the principal,two teachers,and Damien,who was sitting with his head low.

"Damien?"She called.

Immediately,he lifted his head to look at his mom and almost hesitantly bent his head again.He knew his mom would be ashamed of him again,just like six years ago.

Lilly saw her son's school clothes stained with blood,and even his school shirt was torn in a very bad way.

"Mrs.Henderson,"

"My son hurt a student?"She asked the principal,and the man sighed.

"Not just a student,four of our students."

Damien shook his head,avoiding the gazes of everyone present in the office.Even his father was checking on the children in the school hospital.

"Four?"

"Yes.We are only lucky those boys only got minor injuries,"

"Where are the children?"

Lilly looked around,observing those children sleeping on the bed with bandages on their heads.Her mind could only drift to the incident which occurred six years ago.

She knows her son isn't this aggressive,but all she could do is just believe all these.

There are blood stains on his body,everything...

She turned to look at Damien,who shook his head,avoiding his mom's gaze.

"Damien..."He began to cry suddenly.

"Those people wanted to hurt me first.I only defended myself,"

"Keep quiet,boy!"His father yelled at him,making him flinch in fear."That doesn't change the fact that you almost killed four innocent boys,"

"Samuel,please,he is still a kid,"

"Kid?A kid who tried to kill his peers?For what?"

"Dad,I am sorry,"

"Should I remind you that sorry doesn't change anything?You just love to say sorry,sorry,as if you can reverse time by saying sorry."

"Samuel,""Do not call my name,young woman.You need to do something about your son because you might have forgotten,something like this also happened six years ago,and now it has happened again.You should do something or else I am taking him to Clara in Britain.Maybe then would he learn!"

Damien widened his eyes the minute he heard Clara.His aunt Clara is a very wild person trained in the armies;she would kill him there.

"Samuel!"Due to the disturbance in the ward,one of the boys wounded opened his eyes,groaning a little.

"One of them is awake,"Lilly said,stopping her husband from shouting any further.

The boy groaned loudly while touching his head in pain.The minute his eyes landed on Damien's,he began to scream.Scream out in pain and horror.He was scared to the core that he felt like fleeing the hospital.

"Monster!Monster!"Lily,the principal,and one of the nurses ran to him.

"He is a monster!"He kept pointing at Damien.

Lilly remembered that day at Damien's former school;this was also what the little boy said.Why are they calling her son a monster?

"Please,Mr.Henderson,you have to take him away from here,please,"the doctor begged Mr.Henderson,who nodded his head,held Damien's hand,and stormed out of the ward.

"Dad?"

"You shut up.I can't blame you right now.I can only blame your mother;she was the one who spoiled you to the extent..."

"Samuel..."

"Please,Lilly!(Turned to Damien)I will just have to do something about him,"

He stormed out after saying those words.

Damien knew how strict his father was;his father might send him to Aunt Clara's in Britain.There,he doesn't think he could cope;he would die there.

"Mom?"

She called Lilly,who made a sigh.She turned to look at her son,who was staring at her with an apologetic face.Lilly just doesn't know why this kid of hers has an expression that no one could dare resist.She squatted towards her son,then stroked his hair.

"I thought Americans never frowned on self-defense?Then why are they doing this?I was only defending myself,and my father,he was so upset with me and was fighting with you.I don't want him to fight with you any longer;you are a very nice mother,you are so nice and wonderful,I won't like it if Daddy fights with you,"

Lilly almost teared up at his son's comments.She doesn't know why,but she somehow has the feeling that Damien was saying the truth about defending himself.But how were they the only ones who got hurt?

"Damien,wait here"
