Chapter 1 ~ The Destruction of the Earth

"Oh my God, what is that?" Another student shouted, "Look up!" as Belinda exited the campus. Out of curiosity, she raised her head and was quite surprised to see large, strangely shaped planes filling the air. It wasn't even just one or two planes that appeared there.

"The shape is unique; is there a carnival of air force soldiers?" asked another.

"I think they want to show me something!"

"Look up. There's something coming from those planes!"

At that moment, a multitude of spherical objects fell to the ground, and in the next moment, the spheres exploded with a powerful explosion, causing buildings to collapse and the gathered people to die instantly, their bodies torn apart. Upon witnessing such a terrifying event, everyone frantically sought a safe haven. Belinda was also running, trying to protect herself. She entered the campus building, but it too began to collapse under the impact.

The woman was running very fast. "Help! Bell, help me!" shouted one of the many people.

Belinda does have sensitivity; she can hear even the slightest sound. When she heard the call, she turned her head and tried to find the source of the sound among the people running around. Her gaze landed on a woman whose body had been crushed by rocks from the building.

"Sarah?" Belinda rushed over to her friend, who had been crushed by the building.

"Help me, Bel. My leg hurts," she cried.

In the ensuing tension-filled situation, Belinda experienced a wave of panic as she attempted to free Sarah's hand trapped beneath a piece of debris. Despite her best efforts, Belinda's attempts seemed futile.

Determined, she struggled to lift the debris, trying to save her best friend from the approaching threat. However, the following seconds took a drastic turn when a group of tall, black-clad figures suddenly appeared, revealing a mesmerizing yet terrifying blue glow. In a moment of silence, trepidation and hope began to fade as the figures pointed laser pistols at Sarah. Quick as lightning, a blinding beam of light shot out, killing her best friend's soul in an instant.

Belinda's courage is tested as she witnesses the horrific scene; she realizes that she too is in danger. With her survival instincts taking over, she threw building debris at the menacing aliens while fleeing with all her might, trying to get away from the creepy darkness that intimidated her.

The sudden appearance of unfamiliar figures adds emotional weight to Belinda, who must now face the challenge of not only saving herself but also remembering the good memories with the departed Sarah.

The images of aliens are often filled with stereotypes that position them as strange and frightening creatures. However, this view does not fully reflect the reality that may exist. In a broader perspective, these extraterrestrials can be understood as entities that share similarities with humans, both in terms of physical and emotional structures.

They appear to have more muscular and towering bodies, creating an impressive impression of strength and presence. Their piercing, fire-red eyes not only give them a striking appearance but can also be interpreted as symbols of intelligence and sharpness of mind. With flowing, jet-black hair, a sharp nose, and sexy lips, these aliens offer an aesthetic image that challenges conventional notions of beauty. Perhaps beneath the striking physical appearance, there are characteristics and emotions that are very similar to humans, suggesting that even though they come from different dimensions, the essence of life and interspecies relationships may not be so different.

"Ugh, damn! They're everywhere!" complained Belinda as she saw the swarm of creatures that had shot humans to death.

Without thinking, Belinda ran up the steps of the staircase made of almost cracked concrete in a desperate attempt to find a safe place from the alien menace that was destroying the surrounding buildings and ruthlessly taking human lives.

Each step was harder and harder, pain radiating through his body from the impact and exhaustion, but the will to survive forced him to keep going. In her mind, only one goal was fixed: away from the ever-present danger, darting through these increasingly dark and technologically advanced passageways, all the while ignoring the roar of destruction behind her. In an instant, Belinda felt her adrenaline pumping at full throttle, overpowering the exhaustion; every second that passed was a hope for a glimmer of salvation. She no longer cared about her physical condition; everything was at stake in the journey to find a hiding place that could protect her life from the darkness that lurked outside.

Besides Belinda, many other humans survived the ferocious threat launched by the extraterrestrials, running with fear and an instinctive urge to save themselves from the seemingly inevitable attack. In this chaotic situation, Belinda's body was repeatedly run over and pushed around by the panicked crowd, demonstrating just how tremendous the psychological and physical stress experienced by each individual caught up in this horrific event was.

Every step was heavy, as if the weight of fear and despair was eating away at their fighting spirit. Belinda, despite the pressure, tried to remain calm and clear-headed amidst the cacophony that surrounded her, determined to find a way out of the life-threatening horror. These moments test not only their physical endurance, but also their mental capabilities in the face of an invisible enemy, where survival instinct is the only guide amidst the darkness that envelops the world.

Belinda arrived at a room filled with people crowded together. The door was about to close when Belinda got there.

Belinda stood transfixed in front of the door, her voice muffled by the tension that permeated the air. Expectantly, she pleaded, "Please, let me in!"

However, her hopes were crushed when a stern voice from inside the room replied, "No way. Get out of here!"

Like a slash of a sword, the words tore through her need for shelter, and the door closed coldly, leaving Belinda isolated outside. As waves of noise began to envelop the scene, her instincts acting faster than her mind, hearing the gunshots that rattled the floor from above, she was forced to retreat, running away with mixed feelings.

In deep anxiety, she briefly glanced back at the hopefully exciting room as she ran, remembering the faces she couldn't possibly forget. However, a thunderous explosion soon shook everything around her, breaking the tranquility for a moment and leaving a terrible void. The room was destroyed, filled with ruins and eternal silence.

Belinda paused for a moment, torn between the gratitude of being spared a worse fate or the sadness of seeing everyone die needlessly in that room. The choice that should have led her to safety now felt all wrong, teaching her how fragile the boundaries between life and death were in this dire situation.

Belinda ran to the emergency exit and backed down the steps, trying to get out of the building. The fact that she was inside the building was not a good thing for her safety.

Bruk!

When one of the doors opened, Belinda was cornered and smashed to the floor.

When she saw Ravis standing in front of her in a more elegant and shining outfit than the other Ravis, Belinda's eyes widened.

The Ravis figure aimed his gun at Belinda, who was already crying.

"Please, don't kill me!" pleaded Belinda.

The Ravis approached and squatted in front of Belinda, then looked into Belinda's gold-colored eyes with a reddish glow. Belinda was confused by what the Ravis saw. Without thinking, Belinda attempted to flee, but as she turned around, a painful shock to her back caused her to lose consciousness.
