Long time no see!

Shyla’s P.O.V.

“Long time no see, Shyla Alford!”

Shit, shit, shit!

Alpha knew my real name?

Bloody hell!

How the hell even it was possible?

I clearly remembered telling warrior James my name “Jenny”, then how did this happen?

My mind became a breeding den of countless questions at the sight of that deadly Alpha, his commanding tone sounded lethal as he stalked towards me dangerously,

“Or should I call you Jenny, omega? It came to my notice that you are habitual of lying to your superiors.

Is that why Alpha Raymond banished you from his pack?”

The bone chilling fright which had riveted me to my spot evaporated in thin air after listening to MF Raymond’s name, the anger rushed in as soon as the fear faded,

“What’s so special about my name, Alpha? An omega is a slave, this identity should be enough for you.”

The sharpness of my tone didn’t sit well with that rude Alpha, he raised his brow in disdain, but I couldn’t care less. He had pressed my aching nerve with my trash ex’s name, this mess was bound to happen.

“Isn’t it strange that a mighty Alpha like you has spare time to poke his nose in an omega’s life? Or you are tired of killing innocent people for fun? You should...”

The rest of gaslighting died down in my mouth as Alpha lunged at me, his hairy claw clutched my neck in its iron hold,

“How dare you raise your voice in front of me, omega?”

His blue eyes turned into pitch-black pools of fury while glaring at me, the restraint was evident on his face as he barely contained his desire to snap my neck right away.

It was time for me to shut the fuck up and bared my neck in submission; however, some sort of devil took over me. I stared back at him fearlessly,

“I am simply stating facts, Alpha. There’s no punishment for speaking the truth in werewolf constitution.”

It was so challenging to maintain intense eye contact with him because of his domineering aura, but my stupid courageous side was adamant on winning that staring contest.

The time stood still, stopping my heart; however, I felt the grip around my neck loosened, giving me a chance to catch my breath. I broke into a fit of cough as Alpha put some pressure before releasing me, he chuckled menacingly,

“An Alpha lycan is ruling over the supernatural world, omega. Werewolf laws hold no value now.”

Clutching my chest, I gaped hard for breath, his concealed threat fumed me,

“So, you are flexing your friendship with lycan King to scare an omega.

It seems that you are nothing without your buddy’s support, Alpha Magnus!”

Alpha’s rage evaporated in thin air as I spat out his name, a look of great surprise swept across his face. His dumbstruck face flabbergasted me, I took it as a sign that he also feared the justice of lycan King.

“Even your pack has close relationship with lycan King, he will hold justice for the person you just killed, Alpha.

According to my information, there’s no forgiveness for murder in lycan’s constitution.”

Crossing my arms over my chest, I felt pride for countering that notorious Alpha, it was a victory to survive this long in front of that murderer. However, his cupid-shaped lips stretched in a booming smile, the dimples forming on his cheeks annoyed me.

Why the hell was that Alpha so fucking handsome?

Without uttering a single word, that sex on wheels grabbed my arm. And before I could scurry away for safety, he pulled me up and slung me over his shoulder like a potato sack. My world turned upside down as a realization hit me hard,

“This posture will hurt my child!”

My heart fluttered like a restless bird banging his head against rib cage, I shook my body vigorously, trying to get down.

“Put me down, Alpha. I need to go back and complete my work. My master will be angry.”

I was naive to think that my master’s mention would stop this nonsense. Alpha Magnus showed his true colors and started walking, his emotionless voice sent shivers down my spine.

“Stop lying, you are not branded, omega.”

My frail kicks and blows hurt me more than that Alpha, his grip around my hips was so unyielding and unbelievable tight. For a moment, I thought that my pelvic bones would crack if I didn’t stop squirming. My heart thumped as he jumped over the tall boundary wall easily, putting a stamp over my ultimate death,

“Don’t panic. I’ll send you where you truly belong, omega.”

...

Bloody bastard!

The promise in that rascal’s voice disclosed my destination before reaching there, I wanted to pull my hair in frustration for my epic mistake.

Alpha Magnus handed me to the guards of the breeder’s camp, where they were collecting female slaves for the auction. A middle-aged man threw me in the mini-truck with other girls without wasting any second, sending me to the venue immediately,

“Dress these slaves in pretty clothes for customers. I want every single penny spent on them with double interest.”

The girls ranging from fourteen to sixteen-year-old stared at me weirdly, they were wondering about my identity after my exemplary entry. A Blondie mustered up some courage and spoke hesitantly,

“You look old for the auction, and we haven’t seen you around before. What’s your story, sister?”

Their blanched faces didn’t match the curiosity of this question, perhaps they were looking for a distraction to ease their minds. As a tradition, all eligible girls were sent to the auction for money and in case of no buyer, they had to bear multiple children for the continuation of slavery.

Although my own guts were twisting just to imagine the fate of my unborn child, I decided to fight until the end and shared my story.

“I was sold at the age of six to the Blood Moon Pack. I served the Alpha and couldn’t give him a child, so he kicked me out of his land.”

“You are barren?”

Several gasps resonated in that mini truck where we were stuffed like animals, they all sympathized with me.

“Take it as your luck, sister. No customer will be interested in buying you as his breeder.”

That Blondie considered it the best time to explode my brain with tension, she disclosed the importance of today’s auction,

“Lycan King Maddox Miller is coming to the auction. As no one knows his choice, master Chad let you come with us.

Don’t lose hope, maybe you’ll be bought as a servant for the Royal Castle.”

You would burn in the ninth circle of hell, Alpha Magnus!

I bit my tongue while throwing curses at him, his master plan to take revenge on me scared me out of my wits. Instead of killing me at once, he chose a slow, painful method.

It was a wide known fact that the death rate of slaves in the Royal Castle was touching the sky in the previous decade. Rumors said that lycan King had lost his mind after three centuries of failure in finding his mate.

Praying for my child’s safety in my heart, I reached the auction’s venue, we were ushered to the changing room backstage for denting painting.

The clinking sounds of iron chains, curses, and occasional cries of pain were escalating my anxiety, a panic attack was about to knock me out when an unbelievable sight caught my attention.

A guard dragged a marked woman to the room and ordered sternly,

“This slave will be sold first!”

I forgot to breathe for a second as she cried and fought against the restrictions of silver chains, an involuntary query rolled out of my tongue,

“What are you doing here, Ayleen?”
