“I need a wife, but you don’t need to marry me just yet. Let’s have a trial,” Rafael said, his ocean-blue eyes gleaming as he scanned her from head to toe, then lingered on her cleavage.
Savannah frowned. “A trial? Like a probation period?”
“Something like that. Actually, I have a better proposition for you. I want to hire you as my girlfriend.”
Her jaw dropped, but he brushed her chin.
“Close your mouth, Savannah. It’s distracting.”
“So, you want a fake relationship with me until you inherit your father’s legacy?”
“No, I want to hire you until you are ready to marry me legally. I need heirs. I don’t want our kids to be illegitimately born.”
