Chapter 2 Mr. Cooper Can't Compete with Male Models

At that moment, Tiffany couldn't believe what she was hearing. "You want to divorce me? Now?" she asked, feeling a mix of reluctance and hurt.

Leon frowned, clearly impatient. "You know our divorce was bound to happen. If not now, then when?"

Tiffany's heart sank as she finally grasped what Leon was saying.

Eight years ago, when Jujia collapsed in the park, Tiffany happened to be there and saved her. When Jujia woke up with no memory of her home or identity, Tiffany took her in and cared for her until the Cooper family found her.

Later, Jujia regained her memory and remembered the young girl who had taken care of her.

Unexpectedly, the man Tiffany had secretly loved for years turned out to be Jujia's grandson! So, Jujia pushed them together, insisting that Leon marry her.

Leon was not happy about it. To get him to agree, Tiffany signed a contract. If Leon fell in love with someone else after three years, they would divorce, fulfilling Jujia's wish.

Yesterday marked the end of their three-year contract.

But last night, Leon kissed her passionately, held her, and comforted her all night. How could the love in his eyes be fake?

Now, with Jujia's life hanging by a thread and Tiffany losing her support, Leon wanted to force her into a divorce? "But Jujia hasn't woken up yet, and last night we..."

Thinking back to her foolish question, Tiffany felt a sharp pain in her heart.

Leon cut her off, his voice cold. "Don't bring up Grandma! I'll have the lawyer send over the divorce papers later. Just sign them. Don't think I don't know you're trying to use Grandma to manipulate me! Grandma has been so good to you, do you even have a heart?"

He added, "You've enjoyed being Mrs. Cooper long enough! Stop using dirty tricks to make Grandma protect you! You know I don't love you and never will! Tiffany, stop dreaming! I've had someone else in my heart for a long time. I suggest you be sensible and leave now!"

Years later, every time Tiffany thought about it, her heart still felt like it had a hole, letting in cold wind.

So, this was how Leon saw her? Ruthless and shameless? She really didn't understand.

It turned out the most despicable woman in Leon's heart was herself!

From a girl's fantasy to a young woman's hope, all these years, she had never moved Leon's heart; he had always had someone else in mind!

Back then, Tiffany naively believed that after a passionate night with Leon, their relationship would finally warm up and turn into something sweet. But she never saw the divorce papers coming.

But fortunately, Tiffany was not a clingy woman who couldn't let go of Leon.

She swiftly signed the divorce papers and threw everything she had left at the Cooper Mansion into the trash.

She booked a flight for that night and left gracefully.

She was gone for five years! Who would have thought that this man would still haunt her?

The first thing that happened when she got back was running into him! Damn it!

Why did she have to bump into him here? If she had known, she wouldn't have stayed at this hotel. Now, with Sam still missing, she had to deal with this jerk! What rotten luck!

Tiffany realized that anything involving Leon was always bad news. After all these years, he hadn't changed a bit.

"Tiffany!" Leon called out her name, clearly gritting his teeth. He grabbed her wrist and pinned her against the wall, glaring down at her. "Who gave you the guts to come back?"

"Let go of me, Leon!" Tiffany struggled, wanting to get away and keep looking for Sam.

Leon held her waist tightly, forcing her close enough to hear his heavy heartbeat.

"Tiffany! I haven't settled the score with you from five years ago! What's the rush? You think you can escape?"

Tiffany looked at Leon, feeling annoyed. "We've been done for a long time! What's there to talk about? Just because I slept with you a few times? Neither of us lost out. Are you planning to pester me forever?"

Tiffany was no longer the timid person she was five years ago. She deliberately provoked Leon, knowing his pride wouldn't let him be called a clingy dog.

Sure enough, her words infuriated Leon. "Stop being delusional. I just want to ask you, four years ago, how dare you..."

How dare you abandon our son!

Before Leon could finish, Tiffany pushed him away with all her strength, cutting him off. "Dare what? Dare to sleep with you without paying?"

"How noble do you think you are? I signed the divorce papers and left with nothing! Half of the Cooper Group couldn't buy a single night with you, Leon?"

Oh, no. It was two nights. Besides their car sex, there was another time—their wedding night.

She had climbed into his bed shyly after he was drunk.

But that night was an incredibly humiliating memory. The morning after their wedding night, she didn't receive her husband's loving touch and greeting. Instead, she got a long string of humiliating and vicious words—Disgust! Despicable! Shameless!

He described Tiffany as worthless! She was only fit to be a nominal Mrs. Cooper!

But now, Tiffany was too tired to argue with Leon.

She had just glimpsed a figure resembling Sam's and couldn't afford to waste time with Leon. "Leon, I'm warning you! Let go now! I ain't here to count the cash your overnight company's worth!"

Tiffany gritted her teeth, determined to get rid of him. She blurted out, "Besides, your lousy sex skills are several levels below the top male models abroad! Not worth my time!"

After saying that, Tiffany took advantage of Leon's stunned moment and chased after the figure. But she hadn't run far when Leon caught up.

Feeling frustrated, Tiffany saw an outdoor pool nearby. Without thinking, she pushed Leon into it!
