Chapter 1 Escape
"Raymond, help me..."
In the spacious villa, the disheveled Amelia Smith sat on top of Raymond Adams, looking utterly distressed.
At this moment, she resembled a fox in heat, her eyes filled with desire, her face flushed, and her entire being exuding a longing for consolation.
However, Raymond beneath her maintained a cold visage, perfectly composed, and seated with an air of unyielding authority.
Despite being embraced by a woman in the throes of passion, he remianed indifferent.
When Amelia lowered her face to kiss him, he slightly turned his head aside and then coldly pushed her away.
"Amelia, I’ve told you before, we’re merely in a business marriage. If you want to sate your desires, do it elsewhere. Our agreement doesn't include sleeping together." With one last cold look at Amelia, Raymond stood up, intending to leave.
Yet, that single glance shattered all of Amelia's long-held beliefs. She had loved Raymond for so many years and had given up everything she enjoyed to win the favor of the Adams family just to marry him.
But in his eyes, all of this was simply a business transaction.
The burning desire within her still raged, and she desperately grabbed his sleeve.
"Even if… even if I've been drugged, you won't help me?" She looked at him with hopeful eyes, but he only sneered.
"Amelia, if you can't handle being drugged yourself, you surely are unfit to be a partner of the Adams family." With these cold words, Raymond turned and left.
Amelia lay on the floor in despair, feeling both mocked and heartbroken. She didn’t know when her desire had subsided. All she knew was that when she came to her senses, she was standing in front of Raymond's study door.
That afternoon, she'd attended a party and had been inexplicably drugged.
If others could drug her, why couldn't she do the same?
Clutching the vial in her hand, Amelia gathered her courage and opened the study door.
Raymond was busy at his desk. Seeing her, his brows furrowed in annoyance. "Didn't I say not to disturb me while I'm working?"
"I just remembered there's something important I need to tell you." Amelia slowly approached, hands behind her back.
Raymond watched her warily as she bent down close to his ear. In a hoarse whisper, she said, "Raymond, since you won’t give me what I want, I'll just have to take it myself."
Before Raymond could react, a needle swiftly pierced into his body.
He struggled to stay upright, glaring coldly at Amelia. "What exactly do you think you're doing?"
Amelia grinned coldly at him. "Obviously, just what I intend to do."
With that, she produced a pair of handcuffs and snapped one onto Raymond's wrist.
Raymond tried to resist, but a wave of unfamiliar desire coursed through him, rendering him powerless to struggle.
In the next moment, Amelia's soft body pressed against his. She gently caressed him, kissing his lips, his jaw, his throat. Though her bites were light, they felt like hooks, pulling up the long-suppressed desires within him.
Somehow mustering his strength, Raymond flipped Amelia underneath him. His long, pale fingers gripped her jaw tightly. "You brought this on yourself!"
With those words, he pressed his lips to hers before she could respond.
Amelia had never seen such a wild side of Raymond.
His cold hands roughly roamed her body, kissing her lips. But Amelia wasn't there to make love; she was there to torment him.
She grabbed his waist, flipping herself over, and cuffed the other side of the handcuffs to the corner of the desk. "Sorry, but tonight is my time, not yours."
She gently kissed his high-bridged nose, then moved downward, removing his pants. When she got a clear view of Raymond below, she cheekily whistled.
Probably, no one else in the world had seen this part of him. Her fingers lightly flicked, then slid up his thigh.
The unfamiliar touch made Raymond moan uncontrollably. He glared angrily at Amelia, but she just smirked and leaned down towards him.
Raymond swore he had never been so humiliated.
That night, Amelia had her way with him repeatedly.
The next morning, he was still bound to the bed.
A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he struggled to reach his phone, calling his assistant Carl Ward. "Get to the villa. Now. And find out where Amelia is. I want her to pay!"
Meanwhile, Amelia left the villa feeling better than ever.
Though she was exhausted from the night's activities, she felt liberated.
As for Raymond, he could do whatever he wanted.
If it came to it, she'd divorce him and live on her own. She was tired of it all anyway.
Just as she was about to call a friend to celebrate, her family doctor, Lucy Hill, called. "Amelia, you need to run. Your stepmother and stepsister have gone mad. They pushed your dad down the stairs to fight for your grandfather's inheritance. They're sending people to find you. If you can, run now!"
Amelia looked up to see several black cars heading her way.
Cursing under her breath, she turned and ran without hesitation.
Ten months later, in a torrential downpour.
Lucy was running through a secluded alley with a heavily pregnant Amelia. "Just a bit further, the boat I prepared is just ahead. We'll be safe soon."
Amelia clutched her belly, collapsing to the ground. "I can't, the baby's coming!"
As she spoke, she began to breathe heavily.
Lucy knelt beside her, helpless. "Is your sister insane? She's been chasing you for so long."
Despite her complaints, Lucy had no choice but to help deliver the baby.
But as soon as the first baby was born, they heard cars approaching.
"Someone's coming." Ignoring the second baby still inside Amelia, Lucy pulled her up.
Amelia shouted, "My baby!"
Nancy said, "You go first, I'll come back for him."
Amelia said, "No, I can't leave my baby!"
Amelia tried to break free, but another wave of pain hit her.
Lucy forced her onto the boat, ready to turn back, but saw a group of suited bodyguards approaching.
She gritted her teeth, looking between the agonized Amelia and the weakly crying baby.
Seeing the pursuers closing in, she made a decision.
When Amelia's sister Lyanna Smith's men arrived, they only saw Amelia's disappearing figure.
"Damn it, she got away again." Lyanna gritted her teeth in frustration.
Just as she was about to try another tactic, a bodyguard called out. "Ms. Smith, there's a baby here!"
