Chapter 043 He can't satisfy you?

Alexander's deep, low voice whispered in Monica's ear, attempting to seduce her.

Monica didn't want to touch him, but she couldn't just let him press down on her forever.

She hesitated for a moment, then finally reached out and touched his waist, asking, "Where?"

"Lower. A bit more to the outside. Yes, right there."

Under his guidance, her hand moved to the side of his waist and started to massage him slowly.

Even through the shirt, Alexander could feel her softness, and his body involuntarily moved, causing his dick to rub against her crotch again.

Monica was unprepared, and her body's reaction made her moan instinctively.

Alexander chuckled lowly and whispered, "Ms. Brown, you don't seem like someone with a boyfriend. What's the matter? He can't satisfy you?"

"Alexander, you're shameless."

"Desires are human nature, how is that shameless?"

"Get off." Monica pushed him again. "If you don't, I'll kick you off."

"Ms. Brown, you really know how to repay kindness." His voice was full of sarcasm.

Monica sneered, "I'm just defending myself."

Alexander looked at her tough demeanor. Even now, she didn't want him to touch her.

In the end, he didn't do anything to her. He stood up, suppressing his desire, and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Watching his smooth movements, Monica knew he was lying to her. He wasn't hurt at all; he just wanted to tease her.

In the latter half of the night, the ward was silent until dawn.

Monica had also regained her energy and strength.

After Joseph came to handle her discharge procedures, Monica said coldly, "Thank you for last night, Mr. Smith."

"I saved you twice, and all I get is a thank you?" Alexander said with a half-smile.

"What do you want then?" Monica asked impatiently.

"Can I get whatever I ask for?"

Monica fell silent immediately.

Of course, she couldn't let him have whatever he wanted.

But the fact was, he had saved her twice. She didn't like owing people favors, especially not him.

But what could she give him as a thank-you gift?

He seemed to lack nothing.

"How about..."

"Let's leave it for now," Alexander interrupted her lightly, saying, "Let's go, I'll take you home."

Monica immediately frowned again. "I'll take a cab."

Was he really that free?

Seeing her eagerness to stay away from him, Alexander's mood soured, and he said coldly, "What if something happens to you on the way? It would still be my responsibility. Leaving things unfinished is not my style. Let's go!"

The last word was spoken with a commanding tone.

But Monica was worried he'd see her kids, so she said, "Mr. Smith, don't worry. Even if something happens to me, it won't be your responsibility. Besides, I don't want my boyfriend to get the wrong idea."

Since he already thought she had a boyfriend, she might as well keep up the act.

Alexander's face darkened instantly, and the temperature in the room seemed to drop.

Seeing he had no intention of leaving, Monica was about to speak when he laughed coldly. "Ms. Brown, you really think highly of yourself. Don't worry, there are plenty of women who want to marry into the Smith family. I wouldn't pick up something I once discarded."

Monica fell silent, feeling a pang in her heart.

Indeed, even if he saw William and Sophia, so what? There were plenty of women willing to have Alexander's children. Why would he want hers?

Actually, after saying that, Alexander felt a bit regretful. But she had angered him so much that he spoke without thinking. Now it was too late to regret.

Monica gave a cold smile. "Mr. Smith, you're right. I was overthinking. Let's go."

She didn't say anything more on the way.

The atmosphere in the car was tense and heavy.

Alexander sat next to her, glancing at her several times. She kept looking out the window, avoiding his gaze.

His brows furrowed deeply.

The car finally stopped at the gate of Lakeview Bay's villa area.

Alexander stayed in the car.

When Monica opened the door, she paused for a moment, then said in a flat, cold tone, "Thanks, Mr. Smith. Goodbye."

Then she got out, closed the door, and stood aside.

Joseph turned the car around and rolled down the window, saying to Monica, "Mrs. Smith, goodbye."

Monica smiled slightly at him. "Goodbye."

Little did she know, Alexander saw her smile from inside the car, and his anger flared up. This damn Monica could smile at anyone but always had a cold attitude towards him?

His voice turned icy as he said to Joseph, "Drive!"

"Yes, Mr. Smith."

The car sped away.

Watching them disappear quickly, Monica felt a weight lift off her shoulders and walked towards her home.

Daniel and Amelia had already seen them arrive from upstairs. When Monica entered the living room, they ran down, each hugging one of her legs, looking up at her with sweet smiles.

Daniel sweetly called out, "Mommy!"

"Good boy!" Monica looked at them clinging to her legs, feeling a wave of tenderness.

Her bad mood caused by Alexander earlier had all vanished.

She picked them up and sat on the sofa.

The kids sat on either side of her, one lively and the other quiet.

Monica couldn't help but laugh. "What's with you two, switching personalities again?"
