Chapter 072 How Can It Be So Disgusting

"Grandpa," William cut in, knowing exactly what was coming. He turned to Heath, "I'm kinda beat. Can we head home now?"

"Sure thing, let's get going," Heath replied, then turned to Layla and Peter. "Peter, we're pretty much done here, and it's getting late. Let's call it a night."

"Absolutely, next time's on me," Peter said with a big smile.

Heath just nodded, not really showing much interest.

Everyone started getting up to leave.

And then, out of nowhere, someone let out a loud fart.

Before anyone could even process what happened, a nasty smell filled the room.

Bertha noticed a brownish-yellow stain on the back of Stella's white dress.

Covering her nose and mouth, Bertha exclaimed, "Stella, did you just poop yourself?"

"So gross! It's so disgusting!" William exclaimed, pulling Sophia to the corner of the room.

He held his breath while Sophia pinched her nose.

Layla and Peter were in shock, unable to believe their well-mannered daughter would do something so embarrassing. Their faces showed their disapproval.

Stella stood there, mortified, trying to clench her buttocks, but she couldn't stop herself and kept pooping. Her face turned bright red.

Finally, Layla snapped, "What are you standing there for? Get to the restroom!"

Stella snapped out of it and rushed to the bathroom.

Layla was about to say something to cover for the embarrassment, but before she could, she lost control too.

Then Peter started as well.

But with only one restroom in the room and Stella already in there, the couple had to make a run for the bathroom outside.

Heath, puzzled, was about to ask Bertha what was going on when her face turned pale, and a brownish-yellow stain appeared on her beige dress.

"I can't hold it either," Bertha said, dashing outside.

Heath followed her out.

For a moment, everyone forgot about the two kids still in the room.

Once everyone was gone, William and Sophia bolted outside to get some fresh air.

The smell was unbearable, and they couldn't stand it for even a second longer.

After catching his breath, William looked at Sophia. "Your medicine's way too strong, isn't it?"

Sophia nodded eagerly, "It's the enhanced version. Pretty cool, huh?"

William nodded. He had no doubt about his sister's knack for making special medicines, a talent she got from their mother. But while their mother's medicines were for healing, Sophia's were mostly for pranks.

Timothy came out of the restaurant and walked over to them. "What are you guys doing out here?"

"Where else would we be?" William replied, giving him a puzzled look.

The whole restaurant reeked, and most folks had already stepped outside for some fresh air.

Timothy, curious, asked, "What the heck happened tonight? Did they eat something bad?"

The two kids exchanged a glance but kept quiet.

Heath also came out, looking puzzled.

He walked over and muttered, "How could this happen? Is there something wrong with the restaurant's food?"

"I don't think so," Timothy replied. "I saw other people are fine. It's unlikely that only the dishes in one room had a problem, and..."

He glanced at the kids and then at Heath. "You were all in the same room, eating the same food, and you're all fine."

"Then we can rule out the ingredients," Heath nodded, frowning even more. "But if it's not the food, then what went wrong?"

People around them were whispering.

"Usually, Mrs. Smith acts all high and mighty, and Layla, thinking she's connected to the Smith family, is so arrogant. Today, they've really lost face."

"Exactly, I wonder what they usually eat. It smells awful."

"It's even funnier that they pooped their pants. How embarrassing is that?"

"Is this karma? Didn't you see how they ganged up on Monica earlier, saying such nasty things?"

"Yeah, I never thought this is what high society is like. It's so embarrassing, I can't even eat my meal."

"You're still thinking of eating? I'm already about to throw up." Someone really couldn't hold it and started to vomit.

"Not long ago at the Johnson Group's winery party, just Stella's farting alone was unbearable for everyone. And now she pooped in public again. It's so disgusting. How can a lady from a prestigious family be so gross? And it's not just one person today, it's four people together. I think the Azure Palace Hotel restaurant is done for."

Stella happened to come out of the restaurant and heard the whispers of the crowd.

Her face immediately changed, turning red and white. She couldn't believe that the previous joke hadn't passed, and now she had made another joke. Her reputation was completely ruined.

Seeing her, the people around immediately took a step back, covering their noses and looking at her with disdain.

Stella couldn't swallow her anger, her eyes turning red with rage. "Can't you see? Someone must have drugged us. Otherwise, how could this happen?"

"Then tell us, who drugged you?" someone asked.

Stella looked at Sophia. She knew it must be her. Last time, after drinking her coffee, she couldn't stop farting. Now, this had happened again. However, she had no evidence.

The onlookers also followed her gaze to the little girl, who stood there looking aggrieved and innocent, both cute and pitiful.

William quickly stood in front of Sophia, looking up at Stella with a cold expression on his pretty face. "Why are you looking at my sister? Are you accusing her of drugging you?"
