Chapter Three His Dominant Kiss

Aurora Ross's POV:

So, it was Alex who asked me to be his lover, but after I said yes, he got even colder.

He sneered, "Money and power are all that matter to you. Aurora, I didn't realize just how greedy you are."

I wanted to say something, but no words came out.

He waited, but I stayed silent. Finally, he let go of my cheek.

"Take her to Half Moon Bay," he ordered.

A bodyguard showed up at the end of the hall, and I followed him without a word.

Just as I started walking, Alex's deep voice echoed behind me. "Strip and wait for me in bed."

My face turned bright red. I didn't dare look at the bodyguards and just hurried along awkwardly.

On the way to Half Moon Bay, I stared out the window, lost in thought.

Seven years had passed, and the roads were now wider and smoother, nothing like the pothole-filled mess they used to be.

I remembered when Alex and I had a bike ride here and took a nasty fall.

I smiled at the memory, but then reality hit me—things with Alex were totally different now.

I muttered, "Alex, have you been okay these years?"

The bodyguard driving glanced at me in the rearview mirror and said, "Of course. No one messes with a ruthless Mafia King. Mr. Phillips runs a lot of businesses and pretty much controls all of City A. In the underground world, he's the King."

I was stunned. I always knew Alex wasn't just some regular guy, but I never imagined he had this much power.

The bodyguard got serious and warned, "Ms. Ross, for your own safety, don't make Mr. Phillips mad."

His description of Alex made him sound like the devil himself, a stark departure from the Alex I once knew. What had he been through in these seven years?

The Rolls-Royce finally stopped at the entrance of Half Moon Bay. This standalone villa in a rich area was super quiet.

As I looked around, the roses in the garden were vibrant and beautiful, glowing golden in the setting sun.

The bodyguard said, "Ms. Ross, please go this way. Mr. Phillips doesn't like others entering Half Moon Bay, so I won't go in."

I nodded, and after he left, I walked to the front door and froze. Alex didn't tell me the password!

I reached for my phone to call him, only to realize that I had changed my SIM card before flying here, so I couldn't reach him.

Staring at the door, I tried entering Alex's birthday.

No luck. The password was wrong.

I thought for a moment and tried "0507." With a click, the door opened. The password was still the same as seven years ago. Did he forget to change it?

Everything in the house felt both strange and oddly familiar. A lot had changed, but some little things still gave away Alex's old habits.

He still kept various car keys in a small box on the hallway cabinet. And there was always a computer on the table in the café.

I thought I had forgotten everything about Alex over these seven years.

But now, I realized those memories were just buried deep, waiting to come back.

So much had happened today. I sat on the black velvet carpet, leaning tiredly against the sofa. I never imagined I would encounter Alex again, and I couldn't fathom why he desired me as his lover. Then I thought about the unchanged password. Did he still have feelings for me?

The idea made me laugh.

I had insulted him in front of so many people, calling him lowly and unworthy. He must have hated me for a long time.

I preferred to believe Alex remembered my insults and wanted revenge.

My phone rang, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I glanced at the screen; it was my assistant.

"Ms. Ross! People from N.S just contacted us, saying they're willing to fund and assist us. You must have secured the investment! Your hard work paid off! With this money, our company can get back on track!"

Not just the company, but my parents wouldn't have to go to jail either.

His excited voice across the table eased the despair weighing on me, almost bringing me to tears.

It wasn't until I hung up that I realized how quickly Alex had acted.

With the crisis averted, I finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Just then, I heard some noises outside the door. I was a bit surprised to see Alex coming in.

The bodyguard had said Alex was super busy with both his organization and company matters. I thought he'd be back really late.

"Why are you just standing there?" Alex tugged at his tie, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

I stepped forward to take his coat, but he grabbed my wrist. The next moment, I was pulled into his strong embrace.

His hand tangled in my hair, forcing me to look up. Then Alex pressed me against the wall, kissing me fiercely.

He tossed his coat aside, wrapped an arm around my waist, and made my bare feet step on his shoes.

The scent of his cologne filled my senses, and I felt my body heating up.

I realized Alex was no longer the shy boy he once was.

The Alex in front of me was tall and handsome, with chiseled features. As the Mafia King, he was more composed and assertive. Now, as he kissed me passionately, he showed his unyielding desire and possessiveness.

He sensually caressed my back, his hand sliding down from my shoulder to squeeze my buttocks; his erection pressed against my lower abdomen. My face turned crimson with embarrassment.
