Chapter 7

Bianca was the last to greet Andrew, pretending to be shy, which earned her more audience favor.

"Bianca blushed, so innocent."

"Don't overthink it. Bianca is just being humble because she's not familiar with Andrew."

"But they really look like they're in love. Andrew's gaze at Bianca is different. This must be love at first sight."

"They look so good together."

"Wait, doesn't anyone notice something strange between Aurora and Andrew?"

"Maybe Aurora is jealous because she can't get close to Andrew."

After greeting everyone, when it was Aurora's turn, she turned her head away, looking disdainful, clearly showing a "don't come near me" attitude.

This live broadcast had no rehearsals, it was a complete reality show, so she didn't need to pretend to be friendly.

They would be staying in the mountains for several days, and any pretense would eventually be seen through by the audience. It was better to be herself from the start.

Andrew didn't expect Aurora's open disdain, and his calm demeanor almost cracked, feeling a bit angry.

He had tried to contact her in the past two days, but every time the call connected, Aurora would hang up before he could say much, giving him no chance.

Already having issues with Aurora, seeing her like this made Andrew feel even worse.

Mia, who had always disliked Aurora, saw her embarrassing Andrew and immediately seized the opportunity to criticize her:

"Aurora, Dr. Anderson is a senior in the entertainment industry. How can you be so disrespectful? Didn't you say you two grew up together?"

After photos of Aurora and Andrew coming out of the airport together were exposed, Andrew didn't clarify, so she had to explain that they grew up together. Andrew neither confirmed nor denied it.

Fans were dissatisfied until Aurora provided photos to calm the public opinion.

"So what?"

Aurora raised an eyebrow at Mia. She had endured enough grievances in the Johnson family, and Mia's intentions were clear as soon as she spoke.

"Friends shouldn't have such deep grudges. You don't need to be so serious, right?"

Mia's words were suggestive, but Aurora didn't care and glanced at Andrew indifferently: "We're already done. Why can't we be?"

"Why?"

Mia asked without thinking, and Aurora, feeling impatient, was about to speak when Andrew interrupted coldly.

"Why do you care so much?"

Andrew's words made Mia's face stiffen, and after a moment, she awkwardly smiled: "I was just asking casually. Forget I said anything."

The live stream comments started rolling again, with Andrew's fans going wild.

"See, I knew it. Andrew wouldn't be interested in someone like Aurora."

"I really want to know what happened. I love gossip."

"I bet Aurora wanted exposure and got rejected by Andrew, so she's throwing a tantrum, playing hard to get."

"Poor Andrew, having to be friends with someone like her. I feel bad for him."

"No, it looks like Aurora doesn't want to deal with Andrew. Maybe Andrew did something wrong."

"Impossible. With Andrew's status, why would he do anything to a minor celebrity like Aurora?"

"Exactly, Andrew must be tired of Aurora. If it weren't for their friendship, he would have ignored her long ago."

As the live stream comments continued to roll, another man got out of the business car Andrew had arrived in.

He was dressed in biker gear, wearing sunglasses, taller than Andrew, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist, giving off a rebellious vibe.

Aurora, having watched this show in her previous life, naturally knew who he was.

Leonard Brown, a big name in the entertainment industry, initially became famous for participating in a national programming competition. Later, he formed his own esports team due to his passion for gaming.

His team won the national championship for three consecutive years and even won a world championship. Unfortunately, due to an injury, he couldn't compete anymore, leading to the team's disbandment and his entry into the entertainment industry.

Leonard, like Andrew and Finn, had a massive fan base, even more solid due to his roots in the esports community.

The other guests were all surprised to see Leonard.

Since Leonard entered the entertainment industry with a casual attitude, he became famous for being straightforward and flamboyant. His handsome face contrasted sharply with his sharp and caustic remarks.

With a strong background, no one dared to offend Leonard, and he gained a large fan base in the entertainment industry, making him truly the most popular male star.

When Finn saw Leonard, his face darkened even more. He had always been at odds with him, maintaining politeness on the surface but disliking him inwardly.

In the end, it was because his own backing wasn't as strong as Leonard's, and there was a bit of jealousy involved, but mostly it was because of Bianca.

When she first debuted, she once attended a party hosted by the Johnson Group Entertainment with Finn, and Leonard happened to be there too.

Bianca approached him and said, "Hello, Leonard, I've watched your competitions, and I'm a fan of yours."

Leonard's fans all called him Leonard, and he didn't mind that, but seeing Bianca's pretentious demeanor at the time, he was instantly disgusted.

He immediately retorted, "Can you make your voice sound normal before you speak?"

Bianca was utterly humiliated and cried in her room all night, with her five brothers taking turns to comfort her.

The memory of that incident was still fresh, and Bianca was momentarily stunned when she saw Leonard, but quickly regained her composure.

No matter how sharp Leonard's words were, he was still a man, and she didn't believe she couldn't win him over.

The other guests greeted Leonard with various thoughts in mind, except for Aurora, who wasn't surprised. She had seen this in her previous life and had no intention of provoking Leonard.

She insisted on participating to gain more fans, as the more people liked her, the longer she could live.

At this moment, the live stream's popularity reached a new height, with more viewers joining in.

【Am I seeing this right? Leonard! He's actually participating in this show!】

【I can't believe the production team managed to get Leonard. He's notoriously picky.】

【I saw the official announcement from the production team. The guests will live in a village on the mountain for a while, experiencing farming and self-sufficient living. Can Leonard handle it?】

【Looking forward to it. This is like a novel where a wealthy person ends up in the countryside. I want to see how Leonard will cope.】

At this moment, all the guests had arrived, and the host got out of another car and stood in front of them.

"Hello, everyone. Welcome to the first episode of 'Harmony Haven.' Let me explain the rules."

"Our show will last for a week, during which we will live-stream your lives to the audience, showing your most authentic selves."

"During this week, you will live in a village on the mountain, participate in farming, and be self-sufficient."

"The production team will provide each of you with a specific phone for communication."

"During this time, you cannot use your own money. You need to find ways to obtain food using your skills and exchange with the villagers."

"I believe everyone will perform well. Good luck!"

The staff explained with a smile, and Finn immediately frowned and couldn't help but ask, "How do we exchange food without money?"

"You can choose to help the villagers with labor or use other skills to exchange for food."

"Labor? I've never done farm work."

Finn spoke without thinking, and as soon as he finished, Mia and Bianca also looked at the production team staff.

They had never done farm work either and couldn't possibly lower themselves to work in the fields. After all, the fields were dirty, and they didn't want to embarrass themselves in front of the audience.

"You can figure it out yourselves. The villagers are simple farmers, so don't worry."

Hearing this, the three of them showed a hint of dissatisfaction. Asking them to farm was clearly making things difficult.

Joseph had been standing quietly on the side. He had played similar roles before and knew a bit about it, so he wasn't worried.

Andrew had lived with his grandfather in the mountains as a child and helped with chores, so this was no problem for him.

Aurora had lived in a church since childhood and did all sorts of tasks. The teacher at the church also grew vegetables and raised chickens, ducks, and fish, so farm work was no big deal for her.

Leonard had a nonchalant attitude. Although he grew up with a silver spoon, he wasn't that pampered.

The eight of them quickly got ready to set off. The production team unloaded everyone's luggage from the car, and except for Mia, everyone had one suitcase.

"Alright, the production team's car can only take you this far. You'll have to walk the rest of the way up the mountain and carry your own luggage."

As soon as the production team finished speaking, Mia's face changed. She had prepared two large suitcases of clothes and makeup for this show.

If she had to carry them up the mountain herself, it would be exhausting.

Bianca also looked troubled. Before coming, Michael had specifically reminded her to pay attention to her image and to appear as pure as possible.

She agreed with Michael and wore this outfit, but with such high heels and a suitcase, how could she climb the mountain?

"We have to carry our own luggage? What kind of rule is that? Are you deliberately making things difficult for us?"

Finn had never endured such hardship since childhood. In the entertainment industry, he relied on the Johnson Group's backing, and no one dared to trouble him. This was a first.

"Are you paranoid? Why would they deliberately make things difficult for you? If you don't want to come, you don't have to."

Leonard, who had been silent, suddenly spoke, immediately putting Finn in an awkward position.
