2. I Might Fall For Him Again

After he said that he will stay, I couldn't get irritated but anxious. I'm afraid that I may fall for him again if he is near me.

I gave an aggressive look and turned my head right and left in a confusion by calling Ayra. I was walking to Ayra, suddenly Noel held my hand stopped me and asked me to take Robert to a luxury room to stay.

I looked at Robert and said to Noel that all the rooms are booked and full. Noel took a minute and said, " Why don't we take Robert to our home? "

I looked at Noel angrily but couldn't say anything because that wouldn't be manners to say no to a guest from coming to our home.

I took a deep breath and exhaled with mouth heavily.

" Your wish " , I said and about to leave that place but Noel stopped me again and asked me to accomodate Robert to our home. " I'll go buy some good food and things for the party", Noel said.

I made my eyes small and looking at Noel by bending my head to the right.

Robert was on a phone call while me and Noel discussing about his accomodation.

After the discussion, I went to Robert and said, "shall we go?"

He was still on the phone call. He stared at me suddenly while on the phone call. My heart throbbing heavily. It's been so long that I felt like this. I turned my gaze out of Robert and controlling my emotion.

" You were saying something?" Robert asked me.

" Let's go", i said.

"Okay" , he replied.

We stepped out of the hotel, Robert asked me to go with him in his car. But I said no. " It is a walkable distance", I said and started to walk. He followed me. We were walking but didn't have a single word. While walking home, one of my neighbours asked me, " who is he, Amy? "

I looked at Robert and said, " My friend, aunty", I smiled for her and started walking.

" Am I just a friend?" Robert asked me with an angry face.

" No. You are not even a friend of mine. As she asked, I can't say that you are my business partner. So I just said that", replied with a normal expression.

We reached home in just three minutes and I tried opening the lock but it was struck for a few days, I need some effort to open it.

" I need to fix this lock immediately", I spoke to myself.

" Can I try ? " he said and took the key from my hand. His hand touched my hand and he stood besides me. We are standing a little closer. I could sense his scent and it's good. He is tall, may be 5'11 feet. His neck is clean and clear with a very short hair cut at the back of his head near the neck.

He changed a lot physically. I keep on looking at him. The lock got open and he turned to me, i immediately turned my gaze to the other side.

" Shall we get inside?" Robert asked me.

I bite my lip and said, " yes, ofcourse. Please get inside" and placed the keys in the cupboard.

Robert's POV:

She haven't changed a bit, her temper is as it is during the college days. But of course, she is as beautiful as before, didn't change. That cute lips with the arrogant eyes, rarely smiling face never changed. She grown her hair little longer and it's shiny and smooth. I followed her to the room. I didn't understand one thing: why is she angry with me? I'm surprised with her attitude towards me.

" Please fresh up, I'll make an instant snack. The Christmas party might begin by 7 PM", Amy said.

" Yeah", I replied. I started to undress myself as she gone out of the room.

"Here is your towel", Amy said while entering into my room. I removed my shirt while she was entering. I turned my head towards her and fetched my hand to

receive the towel.

She closed her eyes and held the towel in her hands.

Amy's POV:

He came straight to me very closely and said, " this is not your first time to look at me like this. Why do you close your eyes? Are you anxious? "

I looked into his eyes angrily, without uttering a single word, I placed the towel at the table nearby and left from there.

I couldn't breath for a while. I was exhaling my breath loudly and fastly.

I don't want to fall for him again. I went to the kitchen and made an instant snack in fifteen minutes and waiting for him at the dining table. He didn't get back yet. I walked towards his room and about to open the door but he opened the door suddenly which lead me to fall in his arms. He held me tightly and gazing into my eyes. His lips are approaching to mine. I realised it immediately and got out of his arms.

" Your snack is ready. Come and have it at the dining table" , I said and walked out to the garden of my home at the back.

He slowly walked to the table and sat there.

I couldn't help but cry by sitting on a chair in the garden. I must not get back to my past.

Robert came out after a while and he saw me crying. I saw him coming to me, so I cleared my tears and turned back. Robert held my hand turned me towards him and said, " What happen Amy? Why are you crying? "

" Nothing", I said.

" Tell me, ?" he asked again.

" Stay away from me", I said with a loud voice .

" I'm going to the hotel. If you are okay, visit the hotel for Christmas celebrations. Noel must be waiting for you Robert."

" Did you just call me Robert !" , he asked me .

" That's your name, right?" I said.

" But, you don't call me with my name during our college days", he said.

" I don't know, Sir", I said .

" What's wrong with you Amy? Why do you so angry with me ? " Robert asked me.

" Because, I have no courage to face the pain again, like in the past. So, please get away from me. I'm leaving to hotel. Are you coming with me? " I said and started to walk.

He asked me to stop but I did not stop. He furrowed his eyebrows with aggression and followed me to the hotel.

We walked on to the street with silence. We can hear the water fall sound nearby very clearly with our silence.

While we walking, the flowers from a tree started falling on the road. I stopped suddenly and raised my head to look for some more flowers to fall. Meanwhile, Robert stood at the back very closely. I could sense his presence being standing very closely. I started to walk again.

I packed my hands into my jacket and closed my body with the jacket. A sudden wind forcely swept on our faces. It's a pleasant and peaceful weather but I couldn't feel that peace inside my head.

Thoughts are rolling in my head and I'm trying to quit them one by one. With the unpleasant atmosphere between me and Robert, we reached the hotel.

One of my staff approached me and said, " Ma'am, there is a problem with the lighting setup." I went to watch that out. I tried switching them on but the lights didn't on. Noel was not around yet.

" Can I see what's up with the lights?" , Robert asked the staff.

" Please, sir", they said. I gazed angrily at my staff.

I went to sit on a bench over there and watching Robert doing some electric work. I want to turn off my gaze but his aura didn't allow me to. Suddenly, Robert looked at me and found that I'm watching him. He smiled at me while doing his repairs.

At the same time, my daughter Ayra came to me and called me, "Mom, where were you? I helped the staff my best."

" Good, darling. I love you", I said to Ayra.

Robert heard our conversation and he stood like an idol. I looked at him and asked with my eyes as What?

He didn't reply me and just walked away from there and stood near the beach.

I was standing there from a distance and looking at him. I want to ask what has happened to him but why do I care? I gave a thought to myself and about to leave.

I turned around and walking back to my work, Robert dragged me into his arms abruptly.

I tried get off from his arms but he held me tightly. I couldn't help but stopped trying. I looked into his eyes helplessly. I want to ask him a lot of questions but what is the use? At last he doesn't love me.
