Chapter 3: The curse Awakens

Hours later,Aria woke up feeling like she's just being baptised. She tried to get up but staggered a bit before having control of herself. She felt different,her body felt different,she felt energised. She inhaled the room

“Ahhh I might have just had the most refreshing day of my life” her British accent coming out strong.

She tried to recollect how she got to the floor, suddenly her eyes popped. She rushed to check the mirror and noticed the scar on her neck had vanished and she shrugged her shoulders.

“I probably was hallucinating,and I got the rest I needed”.

She stood up to go get some things in the market. She got out the door and the breeze made her body hair stand. The sharp tangy aroma of alcohol from 2 blocks away filled her nose,her ears stood up as she could hear 2 ladies arguing over a piece of fabric. Her heart starts pounding like it will burst out of her chest. Each sound clawed at her brain,each scent burn her nose and her heartbeat feels like it may tear her apart. The pungent smell of rotten bush meat ,she could hear and smell the strong salty sweat dripping from a joiner's head. She squatted using her hand to cover her head and ears.

“Make it stop” her voice trembled

Two ladies passed by her ,the overpowering floral perfume almost made her baff. She could hear them whispering about how they plan to cheat on their husbands how they insulted her calling her creepy

She stood up and ran as fast as her legs could carry her. She stopped when she noticed she was alone. Breathing and panting heavily.

The petrichor of earth and pine and the faint sound of rustling leaves made her aware of her surroundings, she's near the forest. The air was heavy with something primal. She got up and went to the market,the pungent smell of fermented alcohol,and scent of freshly baked bread lingers in the air. The scent was sharp cutting through her like a blade .The noise —endless whispers barking and singing birds made her feel dizzy as she walks into the market. Alberta signals to her from her store,She paused took a few minutes of deep breaths. She composed herself and forced a smile determine to act normal even if her world if far from normal. She walks towards Alberta

“Oh me Ri how're you?” she asked hugging her

“I'm fine,how's business? Hope you didn't miss me too much” she said smiling

“You should ask me kids not me”

“By the way,where are they?” She asked looking around for max and Hugh

“They went to deliver some bread. They'll soon be back. How're doing Ri,” she asked checking her out as she noticed she held her head with her hand

“I'm fine Alberta,like you said I just needed some rest and I did get it. Just migraine, I'll be fine.” She said assuring her while holding her hands

“Aria!” A voice called out,she turned as see Hugh running towards her. She bent down to hug him

“Oh I've missed you . How're you now?”

“I've missed you too Hugh” she said smiliing and ruffling his ginger hair

“I'm okay now”

“Aria! I've deeply missed you,the market was not the same without you” Max said hugging her from behind

“I've missed you too max ,nobody to keep me company” she said bring him to her front

“Are you here to set up? I can help you”

“No maxy,I'm here to get some bread” hopefully tomorrow I'll come to the market”

“Alright but if you still need rest you can stay back I can help sell some trinkets and I'll deliver to you” Hugh chipped in hugging her

“Yh sure I'll think about it” she hugged them

They packed some bread for her,placed it in her basket and left.

On her way home,her senses sharpened,she got goosebumps and her ears stood up. It feels as tho eyes filled her every move, and unseen presence lurking in the shadows, feeling footsteps behind her.She looked back and found no one. Her heart beat after every minute as she hastened her steps.

Her steps faltered but she kept on walking. There was no one yet the feeling remained. She feels someone following her and she faces back but finds nothing. Her heartbeat faster as she scanned the edge of the woods,her pulse quickened. She took to her heels and ran home locking the door as soon as she got inside panting heavily as she slid to the floor.

“It's all in my head” she whispered as she curled into a foetal position.

BLOODFANG TERRITORY

Kael stand in a empty eerie room,fogs surrounding the air. His breath could be heard miles away the pump of blood to his heart filled the room. The atmosphere was cold but sweat was dripping down his forehead, panting like he just ran a race. He scanned his environment,he froze when he saw a shadow standing at one end of the room. He moved close as he got closer,she was dressed in cloak her silver hair down to her back. He heard drops and saw blood dripping down her finger.

“ Hello! Are you okay?” He questioned trying to get closer. She turned slowly, he staggered back when her saw her heart with hole in it,like it has been stabbed. Tears of blood falling down her pale white face.

“Why can't you remember” her voice cracked barely a whisper. She brought out her hands and showed it to him

“Remember! Save me! Save us! She's coming ” she breathed

“Who are you? Who is us? Who is coming?” Kael asked confused , falling to his knees,his hands trembling,his heart pounding.

“I don't know you,what do you want from me?”

“Kael” her shaky voice called out

“Remember who you are” with a swift of air she rushed to him raised his head and gaze at him,as the woman gaze bore into him,his mind opened and memories flooded in—one he didn't know he had.

Pain exploded behind his eyes as memories tore through him untill he saw A brown wolf it's silver eyes gleaming, it growls, blood dripping from its canine mouth. It ran towards a body, her skin white as snow and cold as ice, stabbed in the chest. It rose its head and howled in sadness tears filling its silvery eyes. It transforms back into its human form, placing the lifeless body on his leg,tears travelling down his face.

“You really outdid yourself this time alpha.” A woman dressed in black mantle cried out looking around with lifeless body of warriors soaked in blood. “I warned you! You chose this upon yourself. This will be the end,not anymore” She decreed

“Your soul shall wander till the moon chooses to forgive you.” She lays a curse on him and turn back to leave leaving him to his misery

He didn't even raise his head up as he clung to the soulless body in his arm weeping. He pulled her head out to look at her face he placed his head on her head and whispers. “Not yet Lyanna” his lips quivering

“Lyanna!!” He jolted out of his sleep breathing fast ,his body soaked in sweat, shaking his head as he tried to understand what he has just seen
