CHAPTER 2 DARES AND THREATS
The door swung open, and a man walked in. His face was bowed till he lifted his eyes and saw Liam and I. My hands were still latched shamelessly to his butt, his on my upper back. The man's eyes widened in shock as he took in the scene.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." He stuttered, trying to back away from the door.
But Liam was quick. He strode over to the young man, a sly grin spreading across his face.
"No need to apologize, Ryan." Liam said, his voice dripping with amusement. "I was just about to ask Ethan here to help me with a little project."
I huge wave of unease flooded me at Liam's words. What kind of project could he possibly have in mind?
"What project? What are you talking about?" The nervousness in my voice was clearly evident.
Liam chuckled, his eyes glinting with mischief. "I want to tape our session together." His voice low and husky. "Trust me it would be very....exciting."
My eyes narrowed, my face darkening with suspicion. "You want to tape us?" I repeated, my voice filled with disbelief. "Are you kidding me?"
Liam shrugged, his grin never wavering.
"Why joke around?" he asked, his voice casual.
Highly upset, I picked up my boxer briefs and put them on. Liam was beside me just as quickly as he had left to meet Ryan.
"Sweetheart things don't have to this way. Mmm." His hands stroked my crotch and he kissed me deeply.
I lost all form of anger and my hands which held onto my trouser, felt weak as I moaned into his mouth. My hands grabbed his ass, pressing him against myself. Our crotch rubbing against each other. It sent sparks flying and I grabbed him tighter, deepening the kiss.
I wanted to be inside him so bad, and I also wanted to have him inside me. I left his butt cheek, grabbing onto his long length. He moaned into my mouth as I rubbed his tip with my thumb. I had totally forgotten Ryan was there. On realization of the third party, I broke the kiss.
Ryan stood there, clearly not bothered. Seemed he was accustomed to seeing his boss have sex.
"I promise it won't hurt. It's just a little video."
I lost it. I began dressing up frantically. This time his romance couldn't stop me.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked as I put on my jacket.
"It's just a little insurance policy. You know, in case things get out of hand."
I felt a wave of anger wash over me again. Who did Liam think he was, suggesting something like that? How did he even see me?
"That's not going to happen." I spat out angrily. "I'm out of here."
With that, I turned and stormed out of the room, leaving Liam and Ryan staring after me in shock. I took a different exit, eager to avoid the gala and my parents.
As I emerged into the cool night air, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. I was glad to be out of there, away from Liam's manipulative games. Away from my parent's persuading voices. Everyone just wanted to use me for one thing or the other.
But as I walked to my car, I couldn't shake the feeling that I had just made a huge mistake. Liam was not a man to be messed with from what my mother had said and what I had just witnessed, and I had a deep feeling that he would stop at nothing to get what he wanted.
I got into my car and started the engine, feeling a sense of unease as I pulled out of the parking garage. What had I just gotten myself into?
As I drove through the city streets, I couldn't help but think about Liam and his motives. What did he really want from me? Was he even gay? Was he just manipulating me, trying to use me against my father's company?
I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. I needed to focus on the road, not on Liam's games.
But as I stopped at a red light, my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out, expecting to see a message from Liam, apologizing for his behavior.
Instead, I saw a text message from an unknown number:
"Things are already falling into place. You're just a pawn on our chess board."
My heart skipped a beat as I read the message. Who was this? And what did they want from me?
I looked around, feeling a sense of unease. Was I being watched? Did this message have anything to do with Liam? Was it my parents? Was it the company?
I didn't have any answers no matter how hard I thought. But I knew one thing, I needed to be careful. Very careful.
A car horned loudly behind me and I jerked out of my thoughts. The car drove past me, cussing loudly.
I pressed down on the accelerator, my mind still racing with questions and fears. What was I getting myself into? And how could I get out?
As I drove through the city streets, I felt like I was trapped in a nightmare. I didn't know who to trust or what to believe.
But one thing was certain. I was in danger. And I needed to find a way out, before it was too late.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves and racing thoughts. I needed to focus, to think clearly.
But as I glanced in the rear view mirror, I saw a pair of headlights behind me. I recalled I had seen it when I left the gala but I had paid no heed as my head was filled with restless thoughts. My heart thumped loudly in my chest as I realized that I was being followed.
I pressed harder on the accelerator, speeding through the city streets. But no matter how fast I went, the headlights stayed right behind me.
I took corners and turns but it followed me through every swerve.
There was a screech of tires and then, just as suddenly as it had started, everything went black.
