We got home from the beach late at night. During the long drive with Markus, I fell asleep in the car. So when we got to the villa, I didn't feel sleepy anymore.

I fell asleep at 3 a.m. I didn't want to wake up because I was up late, but I suddenly remembered that I had to go to work today.
