Chapter 0012:Tonight’s Gonna Be A Good Night.

“You need to stop checking your phone, you are not going to enjoy tonight if you are worried about him.” Jessica complained, while she was picking out a dress for Diana.

Undoubtedly, this workshop was exactly what Diana needed, to free her mind from what was going on back at town in her home.

On their first day here, they had barely gotten any chance to enjoy themselves and explore the city.The team leader took everything serious, but why won't she? This was about Xavier Kings, everyone was battling to be the lucky person he chooses to be the editor for his story.

Everything has been going on fine on Diana's part, at least the injuries that she got from Kelvin's battering has faded, and she can smile again having enjoyed her stay here in the city, until tonight being the last day they were to stay here, did she start receiving threatening messages from Kelvin.

“No, i am not worried about him, Jessica. He hasn't called or sent any messages for the past two days until now.” Diana complained, they were at Jessica's apartment in the city.

The workshop ended in the afternoon, and a few who wanted to leave have already started going back to their respective houses, but just like Jessica has promised that she will take her to this fancy bar, she couldn't reject her proposal.

“Then you ignore them, he clearly wants you scared, Diana, and scared is not what you are going to be. Especially not tonight.”

Jessica said, coming over to where she was with her phone in her hand while trying to mask the worriedness, on her face because Jessica was here but what she didn't know is that she's like an open book to her.

“I can bet upon my life he's been spending these few days you aren't at home, sleeping around while you, his perfect wife is worried about someone who doesn't care that you exist.” She said.

“No, im not.” Diana snapped at her, which made Diana handed a black bodycon gown over to her, which had splits at the sides with diamonds coating the hands, where a deep v in the center was enough to give Diana the imagination of how she will look in this dress.

“Good because you are going to forget him and have fun.” Jessica clapped her hands excitedly, and it made Diana wonder if she had set up extra plans for this said clubbing because from the way she's feeling so excited, about this gave her the wrong impression.

“Go change.” She told Diana before she would change her mind.

It didn't take long before Diana came out of the bathroom, tugging down the dress that she's sure her ass was sticking out in.

What was Jessica thinking?

“You look gorgeous.” Jessica said, checking her out but she had a different opinion.

“No, I look like a whore. My ass is showing from this end, and my nipples are about to poke out of this. I can't wear this, Jessica.”

Diana said, looking at herself in the mirror.

“Yes, you are and that's final. This is to bring out your female bratness, Diana. We aren't going to a church, neither is Kelvin hear to criticize you, you look great so stop behaving like a kid.” Jessica said, slapping her ass from behind which got her a look from Diana, before she rushed into the bathroom to change.

Truth be told, Diana never knew that she would look good in this dress, especially considering the fact that she has not for once tried to be rebellious, without Kelvin putting her in place.

Where her mates are living a cool life, she lives a complicated one that revolves only around Kelvin. Jessica is right, she needs to stop thinking about Kelvin.

She looks gorgeous.

Feeling confident in her dress, and as well pulling the dress down so that it won't reveal her big ass, that's the reason why the gown go up whenever she walks, she started doing her makeup until she heard her phone peeped.

She could have just left it there, seeing as she already knew that it was Kelvin with his endless messages. But she's done being his ceremonial wife. A toy that he treats anyhow. She won't allow him and his stupid texts to ruin her night.

But eventually, as the kind and considerate person she was, she read the message and it was about Kelvin threatening to hurt Jessica.

In a flash, she sat up and called him. This time around he didn't hesitate to pick her call, nor did he cut the call on her just like he will always do and claim that he's busy.

“You will do your best to stay away from Jessica, Kelvin. She has nothing to do with any of this.”She yelled at him, luckily Jessica was still inside the bathroom and the music playing on her phone would voice out her voice.

“Threatening me, are we my love?” Kelvin chuckled darkly, which made her know that he's pissed off but it's not any compared to how much she's angry at him right now. He has no right whatsoever to threaten to do anything to Jessica, he's not a thug what the hell is wrong with him?

“You started it first!”

“You ran away from home! Who's the man behind your rebellion, Diana, because i will haunt you and him, and make you watch as i kill him.” Again, he's threatening her.

“I went to work, that's what's happened.”She answered, lowering her voice with the hope that he would understand.

“And you couldn't tell me?”

“How will i when you hit me at every goddamn second? You treat me like a slave, and yet you expect me to bow and worship you like my god? You must be seriously out of your mind, Kelvin.” Diana added, she didn't know that she had this sort of courage.

“That's to correct and keep you in line, you have a smart mouth, Diana, and you will learn to use it for better purposes.” Kelvin lashed at her.

“Go figure that out with your whores, and stop trying to interfere in my work!” Diana said lastly, before cutting the call on him. She served him a taste of his own medicine.

Until her phone beeped, and it was another message from him.

Hubby:

You will regret this!!!

“How do i look?” Jessica asked, coming out of the bathroom which made Diana hide her phone behind her. She will be angry if she sees her with it.

“You look stunning.” Diana said, as Jessica came over to swing her hand over her shoulders while they looked at themselves in the mirror.

“We look stunning.” Jessica said, over excited.

Tonight is going to be a good night!
