Chapter Two
~Elias~
I watched as the guard hurriedly got out of the chamber, leaving me alone with the king. Turning my head slowly back to him, I met his icy eyes.
“Please—-please—don’t harm me,” I begged almost immediately, with my hands trembling. Before I could blink twice, he pulled me toward him and I fell against his hard chest. His breathing was faster than normal and I was stiff, I had no idea what was going on.
“What is your name, sweet boy?” he asked, his voice a bit raspy and low. I bowed my head to avoid his eyes but he raised my chin to correct it and I responded,
“I'm Eli—as, my lord.”
“Elias,” he called out, his fingers finding their way to my waist and my eyes widened in fear. He immediately tore part of his pants and wrapped it around my bleeding wrist. I had never been more confused in my life. He was acting strange and possessed and I could only watch.
He held my waist firmly against himself with no hint of emotions on his face and he bent low to my frame, whispering to my ears,
“You are beautiful, Elias.”
My head was spinning, everything happening felt like a dream. I didn't know how I got entangled with the vampire king, this was not what I had planned out for myself. The hair around my neck rose as his mint-fresh breath fanned it.
“Thank—you, my lord.”
For the first time, his lips curled into a smirk but it was an intimidating one. It was as if he cast a spell on me because I was weak as he dropped his head on my shoulder, sniffing my neck hard. I held my trousers tightly with nervousness at the closeness.
“What are you-—doing, my lord?” I asked after a few seconds and before I could know what was happening next, he carried me off the floor and placed me on his lap. His hands settled on my hips before he slammed his lips against mine, catching me off guard.
His lips moved against mine with a ferocity that left no room for hesitation. I gasped loudly as my hand flew to his shoulders to steady myself. Without permission, his tongue swept into my mouth, claiming my mouth with a possessiveness that sent heat pooling in the pit of my stomach. The chamber felt smaller with every second that passed. The walls, covered in shadows seemed to press me against him, trapping me in a nightmare that smelled like cold blood.
I wasn't supposed to make a sound but I moaned subconsciously, my body betraying me as I melted into the kiss. His hands found my hips and tightened against them, pulling me closer until there was no space left between us. The coldness of his body contrasted with the heat flooding in my veins. Finally, he pulled away and I was breathless, my lips were swollen.
His eyes bore into mine, “You taste divine, Elias.” he murmured.
Realizing what had happened, I quickly jumped down from his lap and he growled at me. His long fangs were visible as he stared at me with cold eyes.
“My lord—” I immediately bowed my head with tears threatening to fall from my eyes. I had betrayed my people, I let my guard down and I failed them. How was I supposed to explain that I kissed the monster we were all scared of? The monster who made our lives miserable, how could I do such a thing? I bit my lips hard till it bled when I heard his voice sound again.
“Come here,” he commanded coldly and I shook my head. I would rather he kill me than for me to succumb to his wierd fantasies.
He growled at my refusal and suddenly he flew toward me and pinned me against the wall.
“Who do you think you are to refuse me, sweet boy?”
I closed my eyes at his words, I was scared—so scared but I had no power. I couldn't act like a weak human because this king's right here caused me so much pain.
Swallowing the lumps in my throat, I responded “I'm only human.”
“I hate humans,” he responded with a cold face.
I nodded my head, I wasn't expecting something else. “I hate vampires also.”
“You have some nerves, Elias.”
“Gasps….”
His hands suddenly wandered to my back and cradled the nape of my neck while the other one trailed down my side. I shuddered, my breath catching as his warm lips brushed against my neck, his long fangs grazing my skin.
“Elias, tell me, “ he whispered “Are you scared of me?”
I swallowed hard at his question, who wouldn't be scared? My pulse thundered as he pressed his lips on my throat, I wanted to fight and tell him to leave me but words got stuck in my throat. Instead, I found myself nodding to answer your question his question.
He chuckled hard, “Good, you should be scared.”
“My lord—”
His fangs sank into my neck with a sharp and pleasurable sting, interrupting my words. My fingers clenched against each other, I was trembling. He gripped me as he savored every drop and my head fell backward, my breath coming in ragged gasps as the world around me blurred. I could feel his power coursing through me, a dark and intoxicating energy that overwhelmed me.
When he pulled away, his lips were stained red. He licked them slowly, making it seductive.
“You are mine now,” he murmured, his voice low, “Forever.”
My heart skipped a beat at his words as I continued to stare at him. So many thoughts ran through my head at that moment but I was sure of something, I was doomed.
He spoke up after a few seconds, “Sorry about your wrist, your neck is sweeter.”
No words from me, I just wanted to leave the damn room. I was feeling numb and weak, he didn't draw much blood but I felt like life had been sucked from me.
“Speak to me,” he ordered because I would never think for once that he was being gentle with me. I gulped hard before finding my words,
“Please—can you let me go? You took my blood already.”
His eyes scanned my face before he responded, “No way, sweet boy. “
“Lucien!!!”
“Lucien!!!”
The door opened with a loud sound and my head flew toward it, it was an angry beautiful-looking lady. Her eyes were cold and she looked like a goddess. Her eyebrows furrowed together as she stared at us for a while before she ordered her guards.
“Lucien, have you lost your mind? You dare bring a filthy human into your chamber? Kill him. Now!!”
