Chapter 6

Adrik's lips crushed down on mine, his kiss brutal and unyielding. At first, I couldn't fathom what was happening, my mind reeling in shock. But as I tried to pull away, his grip on my face tightened, holding me in place.

I struggled against him, but he was too strong. His tongue forced its way into my mouth, and I felt a wave of revulsion wash over me. I tried to bite down, but he just laughed, his lips still locked on mine.

Just when I thought I couldn't take it anymore, he pulled back, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "You're mine now, Joy," he whispered, his breath hot against my skin.

Adrik's eyes seemed to bore into my soul as he spoke, his voice low and menacing. "My name is Adrik Molchalin." The words hung in the air like a death sentence.

My mind racing, I felt a chill run down my spine. Molchalin... the name echoed in my head, conjuring up images of brutal violence and ruthless power.

"You're one of them," I whispered, my voice trembling. "The Molchalins... the crime family."

Adrik's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with sadistic pleasure. "I want you, Joy. And I always get what I want. Submit to me, and I might let you live."

His grip on my face tightened, his fingers digging into my skin like claws. "Refuse... and you'll suffer. And your loved ones will suffer with you."that includes your mother who is rutting in one of my cell.

I felt a wave of terror wash over me, my heart racing with fear. I was trapped, at the mercy of a monster.

Adrik's breath was hot against my ear, his voice dropping to a menacing whisper. "I'll break you, Joy. I'll destroy everything you hold dear. You'll beg for mercy, but it will be too late."

His hand slid down my throat, his fingers wrapping around my neck like a vice. I felt my airway constrict, my vision blurring at the edges.

"Choose wisely, Joy," he hissed, his eyes blazing with intensity. "Submit to me, and I might spare your life. But resist... and you'll suffer a fate worse than death."

I tried to speak, but my voice was barely a whisper. My mind was racing, desperate for a way out. But Adrik's grip was unyielding, his power suffocating.

In that moment, I knew I was staring into the face of pure evil.

Why me?

Adrik's grip on my neck tightened, his eyes flashing with anger. "Why you?" he repeated, his voice low and menacing. "Because I like you"

His fingers dug deeper into my skin, and I felt a wave of pain wash over me. I felt a surge of defiance, despite the fear that threatened to consume me. "I'll never submit to you," I whispered, my voice barely audible.

Adrik's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with excitement. "We'll see about that," he hissed, his grip on my neck tightening.

"Detectives! Detectives!" I screamed, but no one came to my rescue. Adrik's laughter echoed through the room, his eyes gleaming with triumph.

"Detective, detectives!" I shouted again, but Adrik just laughed louder. "You think the police can save you, Joy? I own them. I own this city. And soon, I'll own you."

He released his grip on my neck, but his eyes still held me captive. "No one can save you from me. I'm the one who makes the rules here. And you're just a pawn in my game."

I felt a wave of despair wash over me, but I refused to give up. I knew I had to keep fighting, no matter how hopeless it seemed.

"You'll never own me," I spat, trying to keep my voice steady.

Adrik's smile grew wider. "Oh, but I already do, Joy. You just don't know it yet."

Adrik's words hung in the air like a challenge, his eyes daring me to defy him. I felt a surge of anger and determination, and I knew I had to keep fighting.

"Never," I repeated, my voice firmer now. "I'll never submit to you."

Adrik's smile grew wider, and he leaned in closer. "We'll see about that," he whispered, his breath hot against my skin.

Suddenly, he stood up, pulling me with him. I stumbled, my legs trembling beneath me. Adrik's grip on my arm was like a vice, and I knew I couldn't escape.

"Come," he said, pulling me towards the door. "It's time for you to see the true extent of my power."

I dug my heels into the floor, trying to resist, but Adrik was too strong. He dragged me out of the room, down a dark and winding staircase, and into a world of terror and despair.

Adrik's grip on my arm tightened as he pulled me through the hospital's deserted corridors. We descended into the basement, the fluorescent lights overhead flickering ominously.

"I own this hospital, Joy," Adrik hissed, his eyes gleaming with malice. "And everyone in it."

We stopped in front of a door marked "Authorized Personnel Only". Adrik produced a keycard and swiped it, revealing a hidden room filled with surveillance equipment and monitors.

"Welcome to my control center," Adrik said, his voice dripping with pride. "From here, I can monitor every room, every move, every breath you take."

I felt a chill run down my spine as I realized the true extent of his power. He had eyes and ears everywhere, even in the hospital.

Dr. Lee, a woman in a white coat, trembled in the corner, her eyes wide with fear. "P-please, sir," she stuttered, "don't make me do this."

Adrik's gaze turned to her, his eyes cold and calculating. "You'll do exactly as I say, Doctor," he spat. "Or suffer the consequences."

Dr. Lee's eyes darted to me, and I saw a flicker of apology there. "I-I'm sorry," she whispered, before Adrik's glare silenced her.

Adrik's grip on my arm tightened, his fingers digging into my skin like claws. "Dr. Lee will be conducting some tests on you," he sneered. "To determine your... suitability."

Dr. Lee, her eyes wide with fear, nodded nervously. "Y-yes, sir. I'll do as you say."

I felt a surge of defiance, despite the fear that threatened to consume me. "I won't let you do this," I spat, trying to wriggle free from Adrik's grasp.

Adrik's laughter was like a cold wind, sending chills down my spine. "You have no choice," he hissed, his eyes glinting with triumph. "Dr. Lee will determine your fertility, and we'll take it from there."

Dr. Lee trembled, her hands shaking as she held up a clipboard. "I-I'll need to run some tests, sir. Including a fertility evaluation."

I realized with horror that Adrik was planning to use me for some twisted purpose, and Dr. Lee was too afraid to refuse him. I knew I had to think fast, or risk being trapped forever.

Adrik's eyes gleamed with excitement as he nodded to Dr. Lee. "Proceed, Doctor. I want to know everything about her."

Dr. Lee's hands trembled as she began the examination, her eyes darting nervously to Adrik. I felt a chill run down my spine as she conducted the tests, her movements mechanical and detached.

As the examination continued, I realized that Dr. Lee was trying to communicate with me in subtle ways, her eyes flashing with warning and her touch gentle. I sensed that she was trying to help me, but was too afraid of Adrik to defy him openly.

Finally, the examination ended, and Dr. Lee stepped back, her eyes downcast. "The results will take a few hours, sir," she stammered.

Adrik's gaze turned to me, his eyes cold and calculating. "I'll be back soon," he hissed. "And when I am, we'll discuss your... future."

As Adrik turned to leave, Dr. Lee's eyes met mine, and I saw a flicker of desperation there. She mouthed a single word: "Escape."

I nodded, trying to convey my understanding, as Adrik's gaze lingered on me for a moment before he exited the room. Dr. Lee's eyes followed him, her expression tense with fear.

As soon as the door closed, Dr. Lee rushed to my side, her voice barely above a whisper. "We have to get you out of here, now. He's planning something terrible."

I nodded, my heart racing with fear. "What can we do?"

Dr. Lee hesitated, glancing around the room nervously. "I have a keycard that can access the hospital's emergency exit. But we have to be quick, before Adrik returns."

I nodded, determination surging through me. "Let's do it."

Dr. Lee handed me the keycard, her eyes locked on mine. "Be careful, Joy. Adrik has eyes everywhere."

I took the keycard, feeling a surge of hope. We might just make it out alive. But as we turned to leave, I heard the sound of footsteps outside the room, growing louder. Adrik was coming back, and he was not alone.

I grabbed Dr. Lee's hand, and we sprinted towards the emergency exit. Our footsteps echoed through the deserted corridors, punctuated by the sound of Adrik's enraged bellows. We burst through the door, and I swiped the keycard, praying it would work. The door swung open, and we tumbled out into the cool night air, gasping for freedom.

We ran, our footsteps pounding the pavement in unison. I dared to glance back, and my heart sank. Adrik and his men were closing in, their faces twisted with malevolent intent.

But then, we turned a corner, and I saw it - a taxi, idling by the curb, its engine purring like a guardian angel. We leapt in, and the driver sped away, leaving our pursuers behind.

I collapsed back, gasping for breath, my heart racing with exhilaration. We did it. We escaped.

Dr. Lee's hand found mine, her eyes shining with tears. "We made it," she whispered.

But our freedom was short-lived. Adrik's men ambushed the taxi, dragging us back to the hospital like captured prey. I was thrown into a dark room, left to wait for Adrik's wrath.

And then, I heard Dr. Lee's screams. Adrik's voice, cold and menacing, echoed through the corridors. "You defiled me, Doctor. You helped her escape."

The screams grew louder, more agonized. I knew Adrik was torturing Dr. Lee, making her pay for her defiance. I pounded on the door, screaming for him to stop, but my cries were drowned out by Dr. Lee's wails.

Finally, the screams stopped. Adrik entered my room, his eyes blazing with fury. "You're next," he spat.

Dr. Lee was thrown in, her body broken and battered. She crawled to me, her eyes filled with tears. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I failed you."

I held her close, my heart shattering into a million pieces. "No, you didn't," I whispered back. "You saved me."

Adrik's laughter echoed through the room, a cold, mirthless sound. "You're both fools," he sneered. "You think you can escape me? I'll show you the true meaning of power."

And with that, he began his twisted game of cat and mouse, toying with us like pawns in his sadistic playground.
