Chapter 4

Love

Amelia's POV

Knight's mansion golden was so decorated, a good looking estate as a sense of peace and love that settled over the grounds. Inside the mansion, the houses were a bit quiet with little murmur of voices as we sat in the study. The guests put their hands together in a silent environment.

"Amelia, I never expected to find love in the midst of a contract marriage," William whispered, gratitude.

I looked into his blue eyes, a feeling of love through my heart, I looked at the sincerity of his words.

"I never expected it either, William. But sometimes, love finds a way to come in from the most unexpected places."

Our bond had deepened over the weeks we stayed together, and since the charity gala we are growing stronger with each passing moment and mutual understanding. The barriers that once separated us had so far being replaced by a strong connection that exists between us. The confines of our contract marriage is getting stronger with every passing day.

As we sat in the study, looking at the each other in affection of our newfound love, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the journey that had brought us together this far. Our contract marriage had started as a business arrangement, and it means to end soon, but it had grown into something far more meaningful - a love that had defied all expectations and reshaped our lives in the ways we could never have imagined.

"William, I have something to ask you," I began.

He turned to me, his eyes full of love "Anything, Amelia. You only need to ask."

"I want to know...what happens after the year is up?

Will our contract marriage end, or we will choose to stay together, not out of obligation, but out of love?" I inquired, my heart pounding in anticipation of his answer.

William's looks soft as he looked at my face, he touches my cheeks gently.

"Amelia, I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you. Our contract marriage may have brought us together, but our love will be what keeps us together for eternity." That is my wish.

Tears falling down my eyes at his heartfelt declaration, I was overwhelmed by the emotion that existed between us in the past weeks. In that moment, the fear that had shadowed our future faded away, replaced by a sense of certainty and hope for a life filled with love. I love you too, William. I also want to leave the rest of my life with you, my love.

Our emotions deepened, our lips meeting in kisses that spoke volumes of the love and passion that burned between us. In his arms, I found joy, a sense that completed me. He filled the empty spaces in my hearts.

We embarked on a journey of love to a place of peace and blessings, our bond growing stronger with each passing day. We shared moments of laughter and shared joy and sorrows. Building a life together with love and commitment, is what I hope.

In a night as we sat by the fireplace in the cozy living room of the mansion, I looked into William's eyes, with my heart full of his love.

"William, if not this contract, we wouldn't have met, but you've shown me that love knows no bounds.

He took my hand, his looks unwavering.

"Amelia, you are my light in my darkness, with you by my side, I am now complete."

Our love had weathered the storms of doubt in our hearts, emerging a stronger affection than ever. In your arms, I found a love that was eternal, a bond that could not be broken by anytime or any distance.

And as we stand together, looking out at the sky with promise and hope, we know that our love was a gift not just a contract. A treasure that would guide us through the trials of life, a light that would lead us to a future filled with joy. And in that moment, the beauty of our love, that a contract marriage had led to a lifetime fulfillment.

Our journey that would continue to unit us with each passing day, each step we take towards our future will be fill with love, forever.
