Chapter 15
Nalda stood there for seconds, trying to process all Damian's words to her.
At the end of her thoughts, she knew Damian was only doing this to get his kids but there's no way she was falling for this. She's way past this stage and she's never allowing Damian to toy with her again.
"Nalda..." Damian called out softly.
Nalda moved away from him.
"We can talk about it. I'll explain everything to you and why I stayed with Hazel even after finding out!" Damian said persuasively.
Nalda scoffed looking straight into his eyes.
"Leave me the hell alone. If you want a DNA test done then fight for it cos I'm never letting you have what you're looking for. I didn't work my ass off all these years for you to show up suddenly and demand for a DNA test! I'm done pretending to not know you. You've really pushed me to the extreme... What was that you were saying?" Nalda asked sarcastically snapping her fingers to remember.
"Oh... That you knew we were fated... What the hell? Do I look like I'm in the mood to reconcile with you? Should I dance hearing you say that? Yes, I'm Nalda but not the Nalda you held captive for years! I have broken that shackles of bondage and I'm never going back in" Nalda said and walked away.
Damian stood there as he watched her leave.
Nalda got out of Damian's sight and she ran to her car. She leaned into the car to catch her breath.
She almost broke down as she recalled Damian's confession to her but what use is it to her now? She's gone through all the suffering there is. Love isn't what she needs right now, Aaron and Aila are.
Nalda got into her car and sat there for minutes, gathering her thoughts.
"I went back on my words that I was never stepping foot in here till I get the proof I need to clear my father's name" Nalda uttered coldly and she started the engine.
She drove out of the parking area, she drove past a car heading to the pack house.
Nalda's mind was way too crowded that she didn't notice who the person in the car was.
Damian walked down to the wine station to get himself a bottle.
"Hey!" Linzy greeted as she walked in.
Damian was a bit far from where she was standing.
He looked at him with a blank expression.
"What are you doing here without any notice? Have I become that lenient... Everyone walks in here as they please" Damian uttered placing back the bottle of wine he grabbed.
Linzy smiled, and two elders joined her from behind.
In a few minutes, Asher showed up as well.
Damian looked at him curiously.
'What's going on?' He telepaths.
"Greetings alpha! We're sorry to walk in here unannounced when you're trying to get some rest" One of the elders uttered.
Damian exhaled sharply and walked to them.
"Asher, please take them to the conference room. I'll be with you in a minute!" He said and walked up to his room.
Damian changed into something a little bit official then he headed down to the conference room.
"So what do I owe this unannounced visit? And why's she here with y'all also?" Damian asked pointing at Linzy.
Asher changed seats and sat next to Damian.
"Linzy's the daughter of the alpha of nightshade pack!" Asher introduced.
One of Damian's brows raised in surprise.
"So you are the daughter of Alpha Blade?" Damian asked a bit impressed.
Alpha Blade has been the most powerful Alpha so far and he's still very much alive and kicking. Nightshade pack have been off-limits for conquering. In all of the times of history, the nightshade pack always won against such little threats.
"Don't I look like a princess?" Linzy asked in a flirtatious tone.
Damian chuckled.
"So what do I owe this visit? Got a business proposal in mind?"
He asked straight away.
Linzy cleared her throat turning to the elders.
"It's been six years since your last marriage and we thought getting an alliance with the nightshade pack would be beneficial to our pack! Alpha Blade brought up this proposal himself"
Damian looked at them like he was watching some sort of opera.
"So what was your decision? Did you all agree to the alliance?" He asked calmly.
One of the elders smiled looking at Damian.
"We dare not decide for the Alpha. We're only here to show our support for whatever decision you make. The final decision is yours to make"
Damian placed his hands on the table, turning to Linzy.
"Did you go to the elders first before reaching out to me?" He asked calmly.
"My father did. He didn't want to show any signs of disrespect whatsoever and that's why he reached out to your elders for support but I'm here on my behalf. This is how sincere and honest I am about this alliance" She said politely.
"What about your fated mate? Do you wish to go against the orders of the moon goddess?" Damian asked.
Everyone's face on that table changed except for Asher.
"This is an alliance, Alpha! We're speaking about the benefits of our packs here!"
"Alliance... So what do you get in return?" Damian asked Linzy.
Linzy kept mute, she was starting to get the feeling of being insulted.
"You get marriage in return. I'm sorry, Linzy but unless you've come up with a reasonable reason for this alliance and your father comes down here to discuss it with me then I'm not entertaining this visit again. It was nice having you at Moon Shadow Pack!" Damian said standing up.
Asher stood up with him.
"Have a nice day!" Damian said and walked away.
"I'm sorry but I can't walk you out!" Asher cut in and ran after Damian.
Linzy laughed in disbelief.
"Did he just walk out on me?" She asked laughing.
The elders looked at themselves a bit scared of the repercussions of Damian's act.
"He wants Father to come all the way here, just to seal an alliance with him. What the hell?" Linzy uttered in disbelief.

Asher ran after Damian.
"Damian, what's going on? Did something upset you? You looked pissed in there! I get it that you don't wish to pursue things with her but embarrassing her in front of those elders was a bit demeaning" Asher said.
Damian looked at him.
"I was nice for not doing worse. Who the hell Presence's alliance proposal like that? I thought he was the greatest alpha of all time, was this the best he could think of? I find Linzy not smart enough to be on my level and that's why I hate to break it to you. I don't wish or plan to push things any further. Try everything in your power to make them never show up here again except alpha Blade shows up himself which I know is impossible" He said seriously and went to his room.
Damian got to his room and fell on his bed.
He kept staring at the ceiling and all he could feel inside was regrets for not being open to his feelings from the very beginning.
FLASHBACK...
Years back when Damian was still in high school.
Nalda was in junior highschool then.
One faithful morning, Damian and Asher headed to the junior high quarters to welcome the freshmen, it was their duty to do so.
The freshmen were assembled in the assembly hall.
Damian stood at the podium to drop his speech when he saw Nalda dozing off in a corner.
Throughout the speech and welcoming applause, Nalda was sleeping soundly.
Damian chuckled at the end of it when he saw someone tapping her lightly and she woke up, wiping off her drool.
"What did I miss?" She asked her classmate sitting next to her but she could not Nalda.
Right from the moment Nalda got into high school, she was segregated cos of the wolf situation.
From that very moment at the assembly hall. Damian picked interest in her.
He stole glances at her carefully when she was close. He watched her grow up before his eyes.
Damian got out of high school having a crush on Nalda.
After the rogue attack. Damian was shocked to find out it was Nalda's parents he just killed.
He beat himself up for it but his hands were tied. That was the best decision he could make at the moment since it was a rogue attack.
Damian took Nalda in, he never intended on making her his maid but to make things look right before the elders and everyone, it was only right that he made Nalda his maid to save her from getting executed.
Having Nalda live with him was the happiest moment of his life although he couldn't express himself.
Damian isn't the type that expresses his feelings without thinking through them thoroughly.
As years went by, the elders presented him with Hazel who they said was a prepared border to him by his late father and they said Hazel was his mate. Damian didn't feel the same but had to accept cos it was his father's last wish to get him to tie the knot with his true mate.
Years later after Nalda got her wolf, the very day she transitioned at her eighteen birthday. Damian's wolf connected with hers that very day.
Damian left the backyard where Nalda was celebrating with her fellow maids. He went up to his room. He couldn't content the joy of finding out about his true mate.
He tried accepting this truth but Nalda's situation wasn't a simple one and he had Hazel in his life already.

"Zander, is it too late to fight for her?" Damian questioned.
'Celia still wants me but her master is putting a barrier between us. I think it's going to be a tough fight' Zander responded.
I'll give her some time to think about what I said to her. If she still doesn't want to give me a chance after that. I'll do things my way.
BIG BANG CLUB...
The incognito stripper performed on stage like usual and went to the back stage, he secret resting space.
The manager walked up to her.
"What do we do about them? They might abduct you on stage soon if you don't pick any of them" He said.
"That's not important. I need updates on what's going on? I need updates on the inner cycles of the elders. Who do you think is in charge?" She asked seriously.
The manager sat in front of her.
"I found out about this a few days ago. It's a woman actually! They say she's fierce and she stays here in ironwood pack! Everyone knows her but no one knows her that's how they describe her" He said.
Nalda turned around taking off her mask.
"I need more details. I'm a little pressed!" She said seriously.
"She's the ..." The manager didn't finish up his statement when he gushed out blood and fell on the floor.
Nalda's eyes widened in shock.
"Hey... B...B.. don't prank me like this?" She asked touching him lightly in fear.
A call came in through her phone.
"Why are you calling at this time? It's my business hour" Nalda said in a bit of shaky tone.
"You can't get your full answer if you don't give me what I want. Should I aim at your friend next? I saw your cute reunion!" Nalda's aunt threatened over the phone.
Nalda furrowed her brows in shock.
"You did this to B? Why? Why are you getting innocent lives involved? Are you sure we're aiming for the same thing?"
"You will learn the hard way, Nalda so send me the details! You don't wish to lose more before you do it!" She threatened.
BACK AT MOON SHADOW PACK...
Damian got out of the shower when he saw a text on his phone.
(Are you trying to push me on edge by getting a new Luna? Do you want me to finish up what I started. I know Nalda's still alive with two kids!)
Damain clenched his fist tight as he dropped the phone.
"Hazel!!" He grunted angrily.
