“Cecelia will show you the secrets that please me in the bed,” he explained, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.
“How is she supposed to do that?” I questioned.
In a swift motion, he rose from his seat, catching me off guard. Before I knew it, I found myself lying on his bed, his weight pressing me down. Panic flashed across my face as his hand covered my mouth, silencing any protests I might have had.
“Cecelia is here to give you more experience,” he whispered, his voice low and commanding.
“Remember, if I catch you with another man, you’ll have to answer to me,” he warned, his tone leaving no room for negotiation.

Alexander finds out about Cecelia being kicked out of his home. The king sends a guard with Alexander to make sure that he pays the ransom. During the King's confrontation with Cecelia, he makes a point that Alexander did not really love Cecelia. Alexander cast Cecelia out when he realizes that he does not actually love Cecelia. Determined to make his relationship with Adeline work he pays the ransom. He attempts to learn more about Adeline. As the king leaves, he invites them to a ball to celebrate their marriage. Cecelia shows up mad that she was not on the guest list. She demands to speak to Alexander. After the ball Alexander must go into battle. The kingdom is under threat of seize by a kingdom across the sea. Alexander is about to go into battle. He begins to question what to do when Cecelia tells him some concerning news.
