I can't believe alric its crazy I would have left too. idk how you can say you love someone when your already falling out of love with them because they are changing he needs to be upfront and move on and not drag it on clearly he doesn't see a future like he did he wanted a meek quiet little girl and now that she has more of a backbone like he wanted in the beginning now he's changing his mind. I would have left too mercy. I would have went to Sinclair without anyone else and just asked him to change me and be done.

I am so sorry for your loss. please take as much time as you. something like this cannot be rushed and it shouldn't be. as for the story, I'm loving it. I like how Mercy is currently on a self destructive path because of coming to several realizations. I'm just hoping that she will realize that shes not as bad a person/recreant that she believes she is. I agree with Sinclair, she could easily bring the world to its knees, but I dont think she would. she is far more kind hearted than what she and they give herself credit for. i do hope that her and Alaric are able to rectify their relationship because I know theres a lot of love between then, but I also hope that sinclair finds happiness as well. overall, I'm really loving this and I cant wait for the next update when you're able to provide it. again take your time. I'll be waiting as well as many others for your return! 💛💛💛 (gold hearts for Mercy's recreant eyes)

I wonder what would happen if Mercy got pregnant... Maybe instead of Sinclair turning her the usual way, if she was pregnant with another recreant? What would THAT do to her? Could that save her? Bast said some of her powers developed from/during the pregnancy, right? I might be totally off on that... But just wondering if Alaric would still be able to love Mercy if she was not only a recreant but also carrying one....especially if it was Sinclair's...
