    I’m obsessed so far! Some times stories with a mythical creature mixed with magic get very... cliche; very fast. This though, isn’t over indulgent but just the right amount to keep me wondering! I’m excited in a way I haven’t been in a while to see what events unfold!!

    Compelling story, characters likable (I'm in Chapter 3, I don't know them well yet), introduced singly, so I keep them straight easily. Dialog flows easily, naturally. I can see the scenes, without getting bogged down in "lovely descriptions." Action is well controlled, adds to the story without interrupting. Constructive criticism: nothing a few hours of English couldn't fix, or a middling-good editor. Who/whom, was/were, me/I. That's as serious as it gets. You can write. If you can keep coming up with stories, you should have a respectable following soon. Not that I'm an expert on anything - I once told a guy who had just written his first bit of fiction, and whom I'd just met (at a writers' conference), "Fiction can be hard to break into publishing with, but keep at it, it will happen." When I knew him better, he turned out to have won a Pullizer. It came out okay; we went to dinner together.
