Onyx didn't do anything wrong in the past, it was all Neron but they are both one so he is suffering for what Neron did in the past. Artemis wants Onyx but Kiya is not quite their with Neron and Artemis doesn't want to cross any boundaries because her loyalty is with Kiya. I've read alot of abuse/mate rejection stories. But what I love about this one and what makes it so different from all the others is that Neron changed drastically. His growth into the person he is today is amazing. I feel like he proved to and showed Kiya over and over and over again that he wouldn't hurt her again. He even put in the work and protected her and even though she forgave Raina and such you don't really see the growth there. Yes i feel like she had guilt but i feel like Neron has shown he's changed that's why I can see Celeste and Nuria embracing him so wholeheartedly and I was happy to watch him transform which I've never gotten to see in any other book. You get to read and see his transformation at every stage. I'm glad he went through therapy another first for me to see. It's one of the many things that makes this story so unique.

Will Neron ever forgive himself. Nuria is by far one of my favorite characters, Kiya and better watch out because Nuria is definitely stealing the show. Question: When mates sleep or mate with each other that is them solidifying their mate bond which then leads them to mark each other if they are both werewolves or a certain species or only one mark the other mate depending on what species they are which then results in them being officially bonded and mates? I like that Neron can see glimpses of the future...wondering if he has premonitions like that when Kiya was still being blamed for the deaths of Celeste and Nuria. I don't blame Neron for thinking the way he does about Kiya and not sure he should invite her to his mom birthday party. He still holds an innumerable amount of guilt.
