Kavyaa came to an abrupt stop when his black car blocked her path. He got out of his car wearing a new shirt and coat.

Did he just say my real name?

"Www..what?" She asked puzzled by what he just said.

A short smirk plastered his once scared face.

"I said are you going somewhere Mia?" This time  he used her fake name to keep her at ease.

Lie! Her mind screamed.

She clutched her duffle bag tightly. 

This man just killed someone! Someone that I used to know. 

She was lucky to have escaped before he caught sight of her.

She's being hunted down by a person who killed her foster family. She ran for her life, and luckily she ran into an unlikely creature that saved her life. 

A cop soon rescued her from the road and got her into a witness protection program.

She was sent to live in a small town, with secrets of it's own.

However, her so-called guardian too has found out about her. Kavyaa is not strictly speaking human herself.

He was told to not reveal his canine truth to her, unfortunately, she'd been seen by the monster himself.
