9o5l unfortunately I have to agree with some of the other readers who commented - at this stage it just feels like people are taking essentially the same storyline (girl mistreated by her family, potentially evil stepmother/stepsister involved, marry a rich stranger because "family" who doesn't want her either but met her before and it was oh so magical) and write around it. not only that, I just can't stand that storyline. it might be cultural (I'm European) but it's just way too ridiculous

9o5l a bit too long for me and I'm not completely captivated by the storyline. I'm sure it has its merits, but not generally what I look for in a book

9o5l - Such a terible father. To hate your own child just because your wife died in childbirth it's so cruel. Hope she finds love and forget about her cruel family.

9o5i. forced arranged marriages often create even more problems especially if one part already has a significant other. in a culture where family is and family honor is everything; this has the potential for an excellent read

9o5l. I really don't understand why some father's blame their kids upon the death of the mother while birthing. I think these kids are ti be shown real love and not hate.

9o5l I started reading the beginning of this story and it's quite sad. Judging from the names I'd suggest English isn't the author's first language although it seems quite well written.
