Ellie couldn’t believe that she was seeing people being bought and sold like cattle.

“My, my. You are stunning. For a human, of course. I would love to take you out to dinner some time.” Avery said suavely.
“Thank you. I’d really just like to get home. I’m not interested in you or staying here longer than necessary.”
Avery was surprised that she had so blatantly rejected him. He looked as though he had been slapped across his perfect face. His violet eyes widened in disbelief.
***Ellie is a human who is kidnapped by a fairy. She is supposed to be sold at an auction where fairies buy humans as slaves, but the Ozul takes a liking to her and decides to keep her for her own. She escapes with help from Elvin who is infiltrating the auction and goes to the castle. She learns that there are 'tunnels' between the realms that a mythical being can use to travel through, but they only open once every three months, so Ellie is trapped until the next cycle begins.
Avery, arrogant, prideful, handsome. Knows he can have whatever woman he wants and finds himself only wanting Ellie.

Hello my lovelies. I'm sorry I've been MIA for the past month. My mom has been in and out of the hospital, my kid wrapped up their school year, I tried to have a little celebration with the family for my birthday, and now I'm (finally) recovering from a viral sinus infection I got last week. With everything going on, I struggled with severe manic and depressive episodes within that time span (yay, bipolar 🙄), but I finally feel like I'm on the mend and my moods are evening back out. That being said, I intend to upload the next chapter on Saturday, at which point chapters will be released 3x a week, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays until story completion. Thank you so much for your patience and love 💜

Hi, all. We've just had a death in the family, so I'm going to take a few days to a week to get everything sorted out. I know updates are already inconsistent and that some of you may have had issues with other authors not updating at all/abandoning stories, but I promise you that will NOT happen with FFTFP. I love you guys too much to do that to you, and I love Ellie and Avery's story. I'll be back soon, hopefully in a better spot. Love you all
