Lord Blackhouse Karma

The only thing on Eidenel's mind at that moment was to run as far away from the dragon kingdom as possible, and she was able to run quite a distance until she slumped and fainted. Nature had gotten the best of her as her lack of food and water for nearly two days eventually got the better of her.

Under the scorching sun and in an unknown area, Eidenel dropped to the floor and passed out.

Hours later, Eidenel felt as if she was being carried. She was swaying from side to side and she was moving, but her legs were not on the floor.

Eidenel naturally thought she was hallucinating as a result of the fact that she had fainted earlier, but when she woke up properly and opened her eyes a little bit more clearly, she saw what was going on.

The ground was all the way beneath Eidenel, and she confirmed that she was being carried.

What was going on?

Eidenel tried to sit up, but she was bound to whatever hard surface she was placed on before being carried by...

Eidenel gasped when she saw the people carrying her.

They were so pale, they were transluscent, and their ears were pointed. Eidenel looked close enough to see that the people carrying her were suspended on the air. They were literally floating and carrying Eidenel was the easiest task for them.

Eidenel almost screamed her lungs out but she was quick to hold it back in as she did not want to offend these vampires.

Yes. Eidenel could tell that they were vampires.

The already chilly atmosphere dropped some degrees more as shivers of fear ran through Eidenel's spine.

With her back facing the earth, and her eyes looking at the full moon, Eidenel mouthed to the moon goddess, asking her what her crime was.

First her pack was looking to hurt her, then she ran away and entered into dragon territory, and as if that was not enough, she fainted as a result of the fact that she was starving, only for her to wake up and see that vampires now had her.

Eidenel started to wonder if it would not have been a better idea to remain in that dungeon. At least the dragons were already etting familiar with her, and who knows, they might have released her. Or not? Remembering Julie and the way she looked at her, Eidenel no longer regretted leaving the dragon kingdom because Julie would have made her life hell in that cell and beyond.

In a matter of minutes, the people that were carrying Eidenel, stopped and started to put her down.

Eidenel shut her eyes and pretended as if she was still unconscious. Maybe if they were to hurt her, they would at least wait for her to wake up first, right?

''My King. This is the mortal we found at the base of the territory. She seemed to have passed out for whatever reason.'' One of the men spoke.

Eidenel could tell that someone else had joined the bunch of people that carried her because she could feel an imposing aura suddenly envelope the place, one that made everyone tense up and behave at their utmost best.

Suddenly, there was an outcry from one of the men, while the others looked surprised as they glared at their King with their mouths wide open.

''My King. What is going on with you?'' One of the men asked.

''You are turning to a mortal while you have your underworld powers. I thought that was impossible.'' Another of the men said.

The King of the Vampire, Elves, Fae's and the underworld, Lord Blackhouse Karma was unaware of the chnages going on in his body until his servants called his attention to it.

''Get me a mirror.'' Lord Blackhouse demanded. If he could see his reflection thorugh a mirror, then indeed, what his servants were saying about him changing to a mortal while he was in his underworld regalia would be taken seriously.

A lifesize mirror was quickly brought before Lord Blackhouse, and everyone around gasped in shock as the King of the Underworld refelected in the mirror at once.

Eidenel was still bound to the surface she had been on, and she was placed on the ground so she could not really see the faces of the people around her just yet as they were very tall, but from the sound of the voice of this man that they referred to as ''my king,'' she could tell that he was a dangerous man, possibly far more dangerous than Bernard, the King's hand in the dragon kingdom.

''Is she still bound? What the hell are you doing? Untie her this instant.'' Lord Blackhouse suddenly became very upset with his servants as they all scrambled around Eidenel, untying her as quickly as they could.

''Yes, my King.'' The leader of the men was the most frantic as the Lord Blackhouse spoke to him directly.

Lord Blackhouse watched impatiently as Eidenel was untied and lifted up from the position she was. Eidenel saw the King Of The Underworld for the first time, and she could not take her eyes off him. He was in a mortal state, just like his servants had said, yet he shone like the moon. His skin could not be compared to any that Eidenel had seen in her entire life. His long and blonde hair shone like the sun, and his cherry lips made Eidenel wish she could grab the man and give him the kiss that she had been saving for her first love.

As if the King Of The Underworld could read Eidenel's mind, he immediately grabbed her head, and kissed her deeply, making sure not to let her go until he was satisfied.

''My love. I have waited forever for this day to come. You are the love of my life, and I will cherish you beyond eternity.'' Lord Blackhouse looked like a hopeless romantic as he stared into Eidenel's eyes and made the declaration.

My love? What was he talking about? How on earth was she related to any vampire kindred for the King Of The Underworld to fall in love with her instantly?
