The Rising Moon Pack's Alpha doesn't forgive a debt and my father had no more money, nothing to trade away to save his own life.

The Alpha looked at me, and I could see that he thought I wasn't worth what he lost.
"She can give me an heir," Varon decided. "And maybe that will repay the debt. Otherwise, the deal is off."
And just like that, I belonged to him.
But he had no taste for a mate. And I had no taste for him. So, the mate bond was dangerously incomplete. I was sure that neither of us cared.
I hated him. Almost more than my father that had sold me.
