  • I love this story and I've lost count of how many times I've read it lol. However one thing is puzzling me, at each banquet all of the concubines sit at the feet of their prince's yet there's no mention of the emperors concubines. What's happened to them? 🙂🤔🙂

  • Does anyone know when she first started sitting on his lap? It started of with her sitting between his legs as no one else was allowed to sit in the prince's thrones yet she's suddenly sitting on his lap now as if she's been doing it for a while now.     Really enjoyed this book, love the relationship between Kairen & Cassandra, she was never really a concubine to him, she was always more than that. Kind of wish the author had acknowledged that part way through and stopped calling her his Concubine.
