    overall excellent story, but I hated the ending. Seemed rushed like the author was just done writing the book and wanted this over with. The Epilogue was worse: - When the kids were playing in The Lake which Uncle was there? - The concept that a solder can travel with a Water Dragon - how could that even be imagined? Especially in what has been described as a mostly arid environment. - Who is the current ruling Empress? The story eludes to who it is and would make sense, but the Empress has a half sister named M__a - who is M__a? - What couple does the Empress want to get married and then live in the palace with her? Did the author feel pressured to write the Epilogue by the readers or something? The story did need some kind of Epilogue after that lame ending, but the Epilogue made it worse. The ending and Epilogue wasvery disappointing. Be prepared to get past all the errors: grammatical, syntax, words missing, words added, words that don’t exist in a dictionary, incorrect word usage, sentences that make absolutely no sense, character name mix ups, etc. the only Spend a lot of time re-reading sentences, paragraphs, etc. to understand what the author meant. Sometimes having to let some go w/o understanding b/c the sentence(s) are too screwy. I would buy this book, but not for $30+USD. For this kind of money readers should not have to put up with these errors. I want to support up and coming authors, but this is too much. Could get better quality for less from a book store or published edited ebook. Again, I did like this story, overall it was wonderful.

    Good book, really liked the story. Only comment is that i think it needs some editing. It has some mistakes, and it also repeats a lot of concepts. This book should be at least 10 of 20 chapters shorter if wasn’t for the repeating of concepts. Having said that, the story is worth the money. Hope a good editing had gets it and publish it on paper.

    um... the story is really good, but it seriously seems like English is the author's second language. they seriously need an editor if they are to be close to being taken seriously as a writer. I mean, seriously. the grammar and syntax are... seriously horrid in a great many places. I'm not judging the content of the story, but the story needs be run through an editor. I'm scared for the accuracy of my own English habits if I continue to let myself absorb this writing.
