    Loved the story.. the ending makes you still have questions though. like how does one of their daughters have a dragon? is it a water dragon? and because the water god gave it’s life for Cassie does that mean their girls will have water dragons and boys have land dragons 😱😍 love it either way 😍 thank you Jenny!

    (Ch 134) I'm holding onto my last shred of hope against hope that the Water God is working to bring Cassie back to life. She deserves better than to die the way she did. I feel like the Water God is definitely doing something. She needs to be around to raise Kassian, he needs to know her, she needs to teach him her traditions. Her and Kairen need more happy loving moments. He will be wrecked without her. They need to have all the kids they wanted. She deserves better than what has happened to her in life. She deserves better than to die thinking about all the things she wants to live for.

    This story's intro doesn't do it justice. There's intrigue, sas,... but also sheds light on societal issues. The writing pace is fast enough without losing descriptive value. The characters are well formed, grow/change (except for those whose character not growing is their issue). With many strong protagonists and antagonists. And a lead female that gets bolder over the book (strength of character isn't her issue). This isn't a typical romance book, some parts aren't just hard, they're also gruesome. But it's what makes me like it. There's something beautifully fragile to this story, a beautiful balance between danger and love, pain and kindness. As the end of the book draws closer all loose ends, arches,... find completion. It was a pleasure and an honour to read this book.

Not long after that the roof started crumbling. I wonder if Krai is coming through the roof to get to her. And with Sire busting out from the inside that section of the building doesnt stand a chance.

    Ch132 Well that answer that question, but how did that rat get that poor dragon there? Or did Sire go in himself? I hope he recognises Cass and helps her. Maybe finally he will get what he deserves. For all his "boo hoo poor me" crap he choose to be a monster. Cass has been through so much even before Kairen and Krai saved her, she has more reason than him to be cruel but instead she chooses to be kind and caring to all that's why people love her cos they can see what a pure heart she has.
