    Just starting to read this and my curiosity is piqued. Why did the dragon single her out and not attack? A plausible explanation was given, but somehow do not believe that is the reason. I cannot wait to see how the story unfolds, but waiting to open chapters is killing me right now.

    all grammatical errors aside, this book was beautifully written. loved the plot and the characters. Took me a second after reading it to understand how Cassandra's girls had dragons too and absolutely loved that. I wish we could have found out more of the reason why the water God sacrificed himself. this book was beautifully done.

    It felt like the author wrote an ending that everyone hated so they added another ending that wasn’t well explained in addition to the original ending. I enjoyed the concept of the story but felt like the author got off course several times.

    Loved the characters and the storyline. It had do much potential for a series, sadly the ending was rushed and disappointed. The author also needs to re-read what she has written there was a lot of mistakes, using wrong characters names, words missing, sentances that don't make sense.

    I've loved this book and I keep going back and reading my favourite bits lol. The only downside is the ending, I'm confused about how their daughter has a dragon when it's only supposed to be the son's who have them. Did i miss who became the emperor and what happened to missandra? I thought that the ending could have been less rushed and a update on the rest of the characters. However it's still a really good book and i simply love krai.

    I just finished reading this book. Ienjoyed it very much but the ending left much to be desired. It's been so detailed all the way through but the ending felt generalized, a little rushed even, & not very clear if that makes sense. Other than that it was a very good story. Just wish the ending would've had more story.

    Very nice read, never read fantasy before but enjoyed this book. grammar errors and rushed towards the end but very good read. How long was cassandra dead in the water for? how was there a water god in the lake? how did the emperor know it would be cassie's ancestor? how come cassie's girls get to have Dragons? The last chapters I feel were rushed and a few unexplained/clear things.

    I'm confused. Cassandra learnt her medicine from her dad who was the chief of her tribe and then a few chapters later, her dad died when she was 2/3? and he was the chief architect in her tribe. it's possible for him to be both but did she learn medicine by 3 years old? That's quite a stretch.

    The plot is intriguing and fascinating, but it’s obvious Jenny is a self-edited rookie writer. The plot is obsession-worthy, but there’s often scene changes and time gaps that make no sense without formatting... and that’s AFTER the changes in perception. Narrators can change mid-paragraph and the reader is often left scrambling to figure out what happened. It’s a case of third-person story telling going from too-obscure to too-finite to too-obscure again. Overall, I’d rate it 10/10 for plot (so far since I’m on chapter 14, but definitely hooked) but a 5/10 for editing, making it 7/10 overall... with a little bit of formatting and tense-edits, it’d easily be a chart topper!!!

Cassandra is a lovely girl and is just amazing she bold olny when she know what she talking about and never fear death by dargon by the prince's and princess instead it a really greatly made story!

    Pros: This story had me hooked! I couldn't put it down and saw many sunrises from reading all night. I loved the main characters - the main dragon especially was my favorite. Loved the pace and storyline and so much more! Cons: Grammar errors and plot detail inconsistencies/contradictions that sometimes made things confusing and distracting... But despite all that, I thoroughly enjoyed this story!!! I'd totally buy a cleaned up version in print!

    the story line is good, but it really needs some editing. The language is repetitive and there are a lot of grammatical issues. some areas are hard to follow and need some development for the characters and the plot. I enjoyed the story, the sex scenes were great word porn, loved the detail.
