Just by the title this book had me hooked, i am a big sucker for any kind of supernatural book, your writeing is amazing. i really love the few chapters that i got to read and just by reading the first few chapters that were available i can tell this is a very intriguing story. i appreciate you asking me to review this book. i would have loved to finish it but unfortunately circumstances would not allow is at this moment.     Unique twist on a cliche :) Honestly, where do I start? The characters are well written, they have depth and you can relate to certain aspects of their personality, their views on their different, supernatural world, and their reasoning behind some of their actions fit their characteristics. I've never been a fan of the 'Alpha/Mate' based stories but in this universe, it works really well! It never crossed the line nor become too explicit. I especially liked the characters Ian and Aster, whilst I never got to read a lot with them in (I read the free chapters), I thoroughly enjoyed the scenes where we meet and interact with them. Ian is a wonderful, fun, comedy relief character and provides the reader with a break from the (sometimes) depressing reality of Ember's situation, where she has little control over what she does in the public eye- shown by Kane's dominant control over her, and her home life- referring to her mother working most of the time and then 'living in her own head'. Ember is well written and there's a unique background and clear thought on her story and character. She's relatable with the cliche high school 'I don't fit in' style, yet she shows that even though she appears weak as an 'Omega' she is actually strong in her own abilities. She is a capable protagonist and she gave reason behind every action she made. There's also a persuasive force, where we as the reader like who she likes and hate who she hates, there's no questioning her. We dislike Helen, we like Ian, we don't know what to expect from Kane, etc. Lastly, the only dislikes I have are, the abrupt time skips, where I didn't realise it was now set in college rather than high school until it was literally written out to me. The cultural background (besides that surrounding Alpha wolves and Omegas) lacks information. We are given small tidbits of information when relevant, but I'd like to know more of how humans integrated supernaturals into society, where they came from, was there a war? how long have they been around for, etc. 'Human forms' have been mentioned (in Chapter 6, I believe) yet I would like to know what that actually means. Do all supernaturals have a human form, how did they come about, did they evole that way? How so? Can they control it, do they still carry features of their animalistic form? E.g. in human form, do wolves have the wolf ears, canines, etc. I'm really glad that I was approached on Wattpad to review Alpha Kane. It would never be something I'd normally read myself and I found myself quite surprised at how much I enjoyed the few Chapters available! I read it in only a few hours and appreciated the quick but comprehensive pacing, it was never boring. Totally recommend for a quick read, it'll surprise you! :) Kudos to @kum-elmer-420 for messaging me via Wattpad! (great username by the way) :)

    So I was asked to do a review of this book on Wattpad. I must say I was hooked from the prologue. The main character in the first chapter had a unique dynamic compared to the usual mates reaction, I love that! Also I am hoping this character develops and grows even stronger as I continue to read on. But so far this is an epic read! Definitely will recommend. If you're into a strong female lead like me, this is for you!

    All I needed was to read the first paragraph of the prologue to pique my interest. I personally will never read anything that cannot keep my attention within the first page. I have a fairly wide variety of stories Iโ€™ve read so the usual clichรฉs quite bore me if not, annoy me. In regards to werewolf stories many, if not all, start with a rejection of some kind. Knowing the different ways a story can be twisted, I will usually read past that to see where it goes (assuming the main character doesnโ€™t annoy me). The only reason I bring it up is so that you - as a possible reader - know that if youโ€™re looking for some sappy run of the mill werewolf love, youโ€™re not going it find it here and Iโ€™m glad. This story can definitely pull you in with how Ember perseveres through the challenges she is faced with, never quite giving in... and although it felt short, it never felt rushed in any way. It was an intense rollercoaster at times but, I think my favorite part was that the main character felt real. She was her own person from the beginning till the end and had grown stronger throughout while staying true to herself. Author... first, thank you for sharing this story with us, I quite enjoyed it. Second, I greatly appreciated how you ended this story because it was definitely not what I expected but left me satisfied none the less. Iโ€™m looking forward to see how the characters will grow if/when you make a second book considering there are still questions left unanswered. Third, thank you to your friend who requested I read this, I do not regret it.

    I was asked to review this book by the editor on wattpad and, I have to say, I'm quite interested. *The prolouge felt a bit rushed but besides that the story so far is well written. *I like that the story doesn't primarily take place in high school, which is a small but welcome change. *It's also nice to see the incorporation of other mythical creatures; fairies, trolls, etc. *The idea of all of these different creatures sharing a city together is very interesting to me. Overall this story has potential, good job author!

    this was just recommended to me to read, on wattpad, and Iโ€™m happy to say that I have not been able to put it down since I started. itโ€™s a change of pace from your typical โ€œrejected wolf runs awayโ€ plot that Iโ€™ve seen a lot of on wattpad. itโ€™s well thought out and had it not been for the editor recommending this I wouldโ€™ve probably never found this. Iโ€™m grateful she did because it has me itching to continue my writing that I never finished. overall a great book, definitely a favourite

    With the little chapters I have read of this book, I want to read more. This book gives me the eagerness and want of more of it despite the fact that I can no longer read past chapter 7. The manner at which the characters are being played out is just perfect as well as the setting and plot. To the writer who recommended this book to me, you have done a very wonderful job... I would really work towards reading the remaining chapters. This is a magnificent piece of writing.

    I would have loved it if you had an epilogue a few years later, and gave us some answers?First about her father did he come back and did he send money to support his mate and pup Why did Alpha turned evil killed all these people and tortured Kane? How come Kane got injured by Ember, was she possesed by the smoke, was she trick? Why happend to the Cardwell pack? What did Arius want from Ember for healing Kane? Did that Darius found his true mate and i hope Helen met her mate but he was a rogue and left her pregnant and rejected! What happened to Ian and Jett did they found true love in the end?
