    The flow of the author's English may not be American or the Queen's English, but it fits with the overall fantasy nature of her work. It is in that fantasy mindset & "voice" that the reader ought to set out to enjoy this author's works. This voice sets the overall stage and adds to the drama of the work, it doesn't detract from it at all.

    #70 This story has good pace and the plot is intriguing. I’m really enjoying this serial novel nd the characters are well developed. Totes in love with DarNana or is it Narsan? lol. In fact all the couples that have paired up and their relationship woes are amusing. Great story. And ffs the readers complaining about grammar, I think Jenny’s frenchism’s give her stories a unique voice.

    70 I like that they mentioned that Kassian only remember having his dad around when he was a baby and even the servants confirm it. Obviously we all knew Kairen was eternally faithful ("I don't want anyone else.") but it shows that he was an amazing dad and did it on his own before our Cass came back. It also shows how caring they are as parents to not want to subject their kids to the true horrors they had to face when Cassandra gave up her life to save the Empire and the Water God saved her in return. .... but let's be honest Darsan was definitely conceived that night she returned so.
