Ok, so I’m gonna let you know not to start this book until it’s completed. No, but seriously though, it’s SOOOOOO good you will be left wanting more and will try to read other books entirely while waiting for the next chapter. I wonder if Cece has been taken to the lake and she is under the lake... maybe they are hoping she will come back alive like Cass? think Cessi was constantly healing while attacked repeatedly until parents came but Cece was not lucky trying to protect Cessi and was seriously injured and dying

so Tessa said in a previous chapter that Cece will come back. so maybe they were both captured and tortured. maybe her family got her out but cece is still there. or maybe she was injured and went into the lake. that would explain the scars, her family’s overprotective ways and why she always sat by the lake

Could it be that Cessi died and Cece sacrificed herself to bring her back? Just like when Cass died and the water dragon exchanged his life for hers. That's why her children get dragons who can go underwater cuz the essence of the water god is within her.

That was heartbreaking!!! 😭 Oh, I am so nervous on who did that to Cessi! Ashen being in the Dragon Empire was before he killed his father, correct? If it was, I wonder if it was his father that did that to her...? He came looking for Ashen, but saw them together so thought what better way to destroy Ashen than to kill the woman he loves. Too bad for him he didn't realize she had dragon blood and a dragon. Then in a bit of coincidental karma, Ashen ended up cutting off his father's head in the end like he (dear old dad) had trying to do to Cessi... I'm sure hoping it wasn't any of her family or their dragons, even if it was an accident! I hope Cece is still alive!!! 🤞🤞🤞
