So now we hear that Jisel fled from the empire as a young girl. If she's of dragon blood, there's only one way she could be and that's her mother was in one of the brothels and a prince got her pregnant. Im a little more sure that whole Rain Tribe story is possibly a cover up

it doesn’t say she is coming from royalty though? her mother may be from the Dragon Empire and as her dad is from the Rain Tribe, maybe this is more to do with the Water Dragon and hence she stated they may be cousins? both the girls mothers father is a chieftain so Jisel’s dad possibly being traumatised and abused them with all his knowledge could have damaged Jisel and a methaphor of Krai not being the only monster maybe?

I have goosebumps! I, (literally) just finished reading War Gods Favorite and was so sad... until I read there was a SEQUEL! Thank You 💙! Way too excited to see how this story plays out. The first one had me holding my breath and in tears more times than I can count.

Plot twist, the idea that the rain tribe wasn’t always “peaceful” felt like a slap to the face. But rn, even tho Jisel said she’s a dragon daughter, it now crosses my theory that she’s Vrehan’s b*stard.
