What they did is admirable for sure. Things are moving along but I understand Cesilias worries all the same, cold is far easier to combat than illnesses. On the otjer hand that wall is what keeps the people in the capital safe more or less. Still I think they could have those checkpoints on the bridges just as well. I understand Ashen feeling inferior because of the lack of dragons but he has to remember that he is their king and he has authority among his people. There is a way but without those walls gone all that they've already done will go to waist.

Cant shake the feeling that her dragon sacrificed herself to save Ashen and is now apart of him.. Maybe Ashen doesn't know that part. Then Kairen sent him back to claim his kingdom knowing he is part dragon and he will succeed. Maybe. Really curious about the part that caused her stutter tho
