tt’s good but it’s way too slow compared to the first one. There’s too much backstory going on and not enough, or barely any, excitement between the princess and the King. I thought we’d get some excitement already at least by chapter 15 but it’s still just a lot of backstory and introduction to new characters..

oh boy! I really hope it's Cece coming back but because of the mysterious watcher a few chapters back I have a feeling it's poison to which I want to ask, do these people have a death wish? She's been robbed and attacked intentionally multiple times. Do they not know her father is the War God, a man who almost single-handedly destroyed their country 20 years ago? And now he has two Junior War Gods and a crazy/awesome Empress to help? If anything happens to her their entire country and people are going to be reduced to rubble with no survivors? I mean it doesn't matter who is responsible they're just gonna go all scorched earth? Or are they so unfamiliar with family bonds that they think her family wouldn't go to war over her?
