I have a theory about why Jisel was an alibi for cessi, Joseph murdered Vena and nobody would think she did it if she is the alibi for cessi. there was no mention of Jisel being present during cessi performance, and she only showed at the end clapping. Jisel clearly gave Vena some advice about the king (albeit bad since he ignored her request to dance.) that's why Vena eyes kept going from her to the king. Vena probably confronted her and said she would tell people things about their agreement and Jisel "being a monster too as she said" killed Vena to keep her quiet.

I can only think of one place where the king could have gotten dragon skin from. Hopefully I’m wrong 🤔
